woe is me...
I can't believe it, I have the flu. It's freaking April and I have the flu...I managed to go the entire winter without being seriously sick and I get the damn flu right before my birthday. How much does that suck!!! This is my new best friend. I've had a fever all night and day. I didn't wake up until 10:30 this morning. which means that I didn't even call in sick to work. I'm lucky though, my bosses are great, when I did talk to them they said they knew something must be wrong because I dont miss work and they were worried about me. How many bosses do you know who would react that way when you just don't show up for work.They are right though,I have been there for 2.5 yrs now and i've only had one sick day. I still don't like the fact that I did it, it's very disrespectful but I was seriously dead to the world. I don't even remember my kids getting up and geting ready for school. My youngest did bring me a bottled water this morning, it was sitting on my nightstand. She is so sweet. I'm so sick of this couch I'm laying on I could throw it out the window. There aren't even any good movies on.
