I rarely listen to One Republic. Actually, the only song I know from the band is Apologize. (Hehe) I tried listening to their album "Native" and surprisingly, I'm loving it. I guess the vocals, melody and the beat sound fresh for me. But what really captivates me are the lyrics of the songs. The songs reminds me or makes me think of certain moments when a particular song from the album can be a perfect background music. Whether that moment is romantic or something which reminds me of the youthfulness of my Church friends.
Among the songs in the album, "Something I Need" captivates me the most. I think it can be a perfect prenup video background music. I love the beat and how the vocals are arranged. And of course, the lyrics are perfect. Check it out. :)
