So.. vaca over, back to class at 8am today.. youch and seeking the wisdom of the group
I am taking this English Research and Report Writing class which I love. The teacher is lively and engages (at 8am! and no coffee in sight).
Thinking about the next paper due.
The next paper is on Media and Pop culture. I was thinking (hoping) to do something on Buffy but she uses Buffy as half of her Eng 101 and has written papers on the works of some SF/fantasy authors. I think she's seen a lot of Buffy papers.
We talked about TV today. Does TV (we got also into internet) become a more important reality, as escapism, as validation, etc. The class was all over this that it is. I heard again that people don't read any more or play outside. I know that I don't see it that way but I was wondering what other people might think?
