So apparently, given that this has happened twice, the traditional celebration when Marna visits me is to get drunk and watch movies with the Black Prince in them.
Sadly, now that we have seen The Warriors, a very obscure 1955 film with an unsettlingly decrepit and leathery Errol Flynn as the BP, and A Knight's Tale, in which the role is played by the considerably more attractive James Purefoy, we are now, so far as we can tell, out of them. Bah.
(I had not seen A Knight's Tale before and it amused the hell out of me. Yay for Unexpected Naked Chaucer, who was not, in fact, unexpected but was made of win. Also, Medieval Wash, also made of win. Also also, brief appearance by Jonathan Slinger! Because obviously when you stalk a production long enough, it stalks you back.)
