Mostly I just wanted to show off this icon, because it makes me ridiculously happy.
Right, then. Must go back to rereading Paradise Lost. It's remarkable how frustrating it is that all the office-supply stores close early on Sunday, so that I cannot get pens that are neither blue, black, nor red with which to annotate my copy of PL, as I am a copious annotater and I've read the poem often enough now that it's getting difficult to sift through my notes.
(It's also fun to reread PL having just read some of Milton's political writings: it's fascinating to see what gets echoed where.)
Note that I am blathering about this on LJ instead of actually reading, which is particularly stupid as the freight-train feeling I associate with my impending exams has returned most emphatically. I shall refrain from invoking the obvious Shakespeare line, as I'm sure you know what it is already. ;)
