This is astonishing. Thank you for sharing it.

BTW, what do you know about Jacobean witchcraft plays? I'm working on a theory that witches (except Shakespeare's) are generally presented as comic as much as threatening. Is there anything that would punch a huge hole in my idea?

I ... did not know he ever attempted sapphics. Or anything except in pure iambics (even his hymns are pure regular meter).
