Happy Frogs Day All!
Yep, in refference to French Independance Day. Referred to around her as 'Froggish Underpants Day' in the grand Hasher style of bastardizing everything and it's Grandma. ^.^ And, being Froggish Underpants Day, our local Frogs had to set th run this week of course. Which was lovely. A bit of a ballbuster, and the walkers got led astray by some marks from a few months ago that had petrified themselves onto teh rocks, but no-where NEAR as torturous as the last time Venki set a run (and boy, that is one experience I could live without repeats of @.@). Next week's run is at Old Monk's place again, and I'm presumably going to be dropped off at teh airport immediately after that, so I'm going to have to be almost completely packed by about Friday to avoid any unneccessary chaos.
In other news, have been playing Sims a bit to bring down my fangirlism levels. I think they might have been getting dangerous...
Art Stuff...
MerSora x Riku pic: have come up with workable bg, in process of painting it. Have done sky, water and a bit of the rocks and things, trying to decide on exact coloring for clouds. Will probably post up at some point as a stand-alone piece because i'm just so proud of it. ^-^ Painting in elements is so freakishly fun. The fact that I was listening to 'Kiss The Girl' from The Little Mermaid OST made it even better. XD I was on such a huge D*sney kick it was almost hazardous.
Hmmm... I wonder if my Aunt will have D*sney DVDs for me to binge on... (chances are looking pretty good at this point)
Took stock of all my un-scanned sketches yesterday and it turns out I have over 20 pages worth. And that's only the ones I consider high-quality enough to bother scanning. o_O
Days left untill departure: 6 1/2
Have been having lots of inspiration for my weird, original-type fantasy-verse... still haven't actually written much of it down but I'm remembering a surprising amount of what I come up with.
