+1 to experience comment :) we started that a while back and kids are thrilled. This year we did nyc for Daniel..he went to harry potter and pretty much all day we did what he wanted. We got ready in advance asking him what he'd like to see etc..to have somewhat of a blueprint for the day.

we have experience trips often, and it's unlikely he'll request much of anything, except maybe a movie, but that's not big enough for a present just on its own. And in late November, the options for an outdoor experience aren't really there.

I know what u mean everyweekend we go somewhere....buuut what about train trip to nyc or something similar? Or museum or movie with favorite deserts....arcade and just complete junkness :) a day of pure fun ....

yeh - I am new to the NE, so I would not know about weather too much. we lucked out with our early sept. child :) of course the other one is in mid feb. and he told me he wants to celebrate @ the beach :) :)

Ipod touch was a hit. Daniel checks his email and listens to music. Of course he drools over grandads ipad :)

maybe. Who would he get email from? And that would require typing responses. I suspect he'll just play his world of goo instead.

from his grandparents (AZ and Toronto) :) also sometimes old teacher in AZ.
and yes, he would play a lot :) buuuut not only play. At first he would, but then he'd want to experiment and learn more about it :)
