Кто-нибудь пользовался сервисами online backup? Их сейчас много вроде развелось, но я раньше не смотрела на них, думала, что буду синхронизировать все с моего лаптопа на домашний RAID, но поняла, что наверное легче все-таки заплатить чтоб это делалось автоматически, легко и постоянно. in SyncToy you can setup different types of "sync". 1-way, 2-way (changes in either place is reflected in other). I prefer "echo" - changes on LEFT, appear on RIGHT. Anything delete/added on left is then done on right. This way you have no old files on the right, and no changes on the right affect the left. a true "backup". SyncToy is pretty good, can setup multiple profiles to sync and can be run in silent mode (read: windows scheduler). RSync for windows is a pain to setup, so that's the alternative.

RAID - just buy a "windows home server" box.

Does Windows Home Server support RAID?

Windows Home Server offers the benefits of RAID, without the complexity. New hard drives of any size, either internal or external, can be added to Windows Home Server and the amount of available storage grows based on the size of the hard disk. On a system with two or more hard drives, Windows Home Server users can enable "duplication" on a shared folder basis and files are copied or "mirrored" on two separate hard drives. If a single hard drive fails, then a user will not lose any files in any folder that has "duplication" enabled. External hard drives can be added via USB, Firewire, or eSATA, provided the Windows Home Server has the appropriate hardware inputs.

But what I want is a "box" -- so that all that it needs, comes with it, it can be set up over wifi and then syncs over wifi automatically daily, without giving me problems.
