Looking for creative folks..

Went to a meeting last night about that exhibition I'm putting stuff in for last night. Tis definitely going ahead, so I now have to get lots of prints done, and hopefully some will turn out good enough for it, so am now a bit nervous. This was esp cos all the other folk there were proper, professionaly trained, starving artist types, albeit thoroughly lovely and not at all snotty about an amateur like meself.

One of the things that came out of the meeting was that they're using the main gallery space at Zion Arts, but they want the exhibition to be full and busy, rather than a 'white space/poncy Art' kind of a thing. So they're still on the lookout for more submissions, if anyone's interested, or knows someone who might be. I've left this entry unlocked for now, so please do point people at it if you think they may be interested, link to more info is here - The Day The Rain Turned to Paint. The exhibition opens on the 18th May, so they want material in by the 15th, so get your skates on!

In other news, it seems that all sofas in PhD offices are in fact One, right down to the accumulated dribble of generations of crashed out thesis finishers...
