I thought I'd post about this project, which I thought was interesting and that some of you might like to know about. In short, I'm fine, have just been plunged into post London trip/pre Bicon and pre conference busy. Looking forward to leaving it all behind for a few days, though I'm hoping I can get back into the swing of things quickly next week.

The land scope project
Dartington Hall Trust is looking for pioneering individuals with skills and experience to develop innovative, viable and sustainable land-based ventures.
The Dartington Hall Trust announced the launch of the land scope project this month. This is a new flagship initiative to explore ways in which innovative, small-scale, self-funded ventures can contribute to sustainable land use on selected sites within the 1,200 acre Dartington Hall Estate in South Devon.
Applications are now welcomed from pioneering individuals with the skills and experience to launch new ventures that a) focus on the land, b) help promote sustainability, c) are economically viable and d) make connections with other activities on the Estate. In return, Dartington is offering land and property under flexible commercial terms, a potential market for goods and services, a voluntary mentoring support programme and an option to benefit from the goodwill associated with Dartington prestige. In addition, practitioners get to work in an inspiring and beautiful environment, amongst like-minded pioneers.
