It seems that the folk behind The Sultan's Elephant, which I saw (and may have gotten a bit excited about at the time) a couple of years ago, are going be putting on 'something' in Liverpool this September. For those who weren't lucky enough to witness it, Sultan's Elephant was this amazing citywide piece of street theatre involving giant puppets (most impressively a bigger-than-life-size- moving-trumpeting-and-blowing-water ELLPHAAANT!) and human beings that happened over a weekend in London during 2006. It looks like it'll be part of the ongoing car-crash that is Liverpool's hosting of the 'Capital of Culture' thingy, so who knows if it'll actually happen, but watch this space. If it's on, I *will* be heading over there to find out what these amazing people do next, if anyone fancies joining me?
