This was posted on myspace on April 19th.....I forgot to update on here:
Last night was Fall Out Boy, All American Rejects, Hawthorne Heights, and 2 other bands I have no clue who they are. The think one of them was From First To Last. Anyways, here's how last nights events unfolded......
The drive to Milwaukee really wasn't that bad or exciting. We made a run for the Golden Arches and I had to eat my may-up in loving memory of having regular Mc D's with my Cheebers. My brother and I were fighting on the way there.......it was the typical Mackenroth road trip. We arrived at Cheetah Sis' house and as we were getting ready my brother decides to give us a little "pre-show" of Fall Out Boy......literally......
Apparently, the guitar player of Fall Out Boy sent naked pictures of himself to a girl that he liked, and she obviously didn't like him that much, because she passed them on and eventually they ended up on the internet, so we got to see what, in my opinion, was a ridiculously large wiener. Jesus, that thing could've poked my eye out just looking at it, but apparently no one else thought it was really that big. In the words of my brother, "If I wasn't related to you I'd pull it out right now and prove it to you." Gross.
So, with that in mind, I started to do what any person in my position would do.....drink....a lot......and not really eat anything for dinner. Needless to say, I had a pleasant buzz upon entering the U.S. Cellular Center. We got there just in time to listen to some band open for the opener for the opener for the opener for Fall Out Boy. I really had no interest in listening to them from my seat, so a few of us headed straight to the beer area while my brother, Jennifer J, and Cheetah Sis went to sit down. After slamming 3 beers in about 20 minutes, I was ready to go!!!
I found my brother, and all of us set off to the floor to try to get to the stage. We were denied quickly as you need a ticket to get to the floor, even though there's no actual seating for the floor......um, okay, whatever that meant. A little lightbulb went off inside my head and I ventured alone down to the floor where an impatient lady asked me for my floor ticket.
Me: "Oh shoot! I need my ticket to get back in? I didn't know that! I left it in there with my friends!!"
Retarded Lady: "Okay, well, go in there and get it and bring it back so I can see it."
Me: "Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight."
Our seats were right next to the floor, so I walked in and to the astonishment of my teammates of the evening I just stood there with a shit grin on my face and said, "Come on!" Well, my brother, being the genius that he is, decided to just make a wild leap over the first level unto the floor. I'm amazed he didn't get kicked out because after he did that a few other people did it and the guards were a chasing after them. Finally, Jennifer J tells some story about leaving her inhaler in there and Retarded Lady also lets her through, but everyone else decides to stay in the seats.
At this point, From First To Last is about to start, and I figure if we want to make it to the front of the stage it's GO TIME because we are at the ass back of the damn floor. Once again, I have another BRILLANT idea and grab my brother and Jennifer's hands and plow into the crowd looking freaked out and quite angry. That seemed to work because people were moving out of my way as I shouted, "Excuse me! Excuse me! Have you seen my 10 year old son? His name is Jake and he ran in here! JAKE!!! Have you seen a 10 year old boy??" I frantically tried to work through the crowd until we were about 5 rows of people back. YESSSSSSS.......
From First To Last really wasn't that bad, Hawthorne Heights was AWESOME, I'd say probably my favorite. Too bad we didn't see them in Madison the other night. People were just starting to get rowdy during Hawthorne Heights, and I figured that I survived Relient K, so how bad could it be? Yea, I think I totally jinxed myself by thinking that because once All American Rejects came out, it was hell. I lost my cell phone because asswipes were pushing, shoving, hitting, you name it. So I had a few people help me look for my phone and as I am bending down within the crowd this monstrous hand grabs a chunk of my hair and pulls so hard I can feel every hair getting ripped out one by one. I get up and it's my brother trying to make sure I'm not getting trampled. Well, I finally find my phone, but then all of the contents of my purse gets dumped out, so again I'm crouching over while the moshing is going around me. I managed to get everything except the back of my phone, but I figure that's long and lost at the point as hell REALLY starts to break loose. I think All American Rejects WOULD have been my favorite had I not gotten the shit kicked out of me throughout the whole show. I couldn't see nor hear them for some of the songs because people were moshing so badly. I hate to actually admit this, but at one point I actually considered giving up and leaving.....I was so close.....4 people in front of me.......but then I lost my damn phone again......and then I lost my freaking flip flop and then my sun glasses were crushed into my head from people body surfing.........so at that point, my sweatshirt was missing, my left shoe, my phone, and I was clutching my camera and bag for dear life.
Through some act of God I was able to recover everything in time for Fall Out Boy to start and at this time I was like 7 or 8 people back. Now I was getting pissed, and again just thinking about giving up. My brother was a few people ahead of me, Jennifer is long gone, and my feet had been crushed as well as various other parts of my body. I was drenched in sweat, about 15% of it was actually MY sweat, and I'm sure I could have gone to jail for the way I was smashed up again all the little boys and girls that were all around me. Also, people were dropping like flies before the final act came out....bouncers were lifting people all over the place because they were passing out or throwing up or God knows what else.....Then Fall Out Boy came out......and I bucked up, just in time to get thrown around in ways I didn't think were possible. I don't think I've ever been touched or manhandled the way I was last night.....but I fought and pushed and dragged my ass FRONT AND CENTER for Fall Out Boy. Sweet, sweet asses......
And then the freaking body passing started.......AGAIN. I was kicked in the face, punched in the face, elbowed in multiple spots, my feet again were being smashed, I was thrown to the left, and then to the right, and then pushed back, and all of the body surfers......I was thinking, "Who the f is doing all this massive body passing?" and I look back and WHO do you think it was?? MY BROTHER, collaborating with multiple guys who were throwing anyone and everyone willing to do a little surfing that evening. What a knob. The porno penis guitar player kept trying to body surf and the bouncers kept pulling him back unto the stage. At the encore part he came out into the crowd and I got thrown right into him.....it was like the scene from Along Came Polly when Ben Stiller gets his face smashed into the big, fat, hairy, sweaty guy. I got mashed into him as girls and guys were trying to rip his shirt off (which they did) and then proceeded to pull down his pants (he has previously made in announcement that evening to make sure we'd all seen it). After getting his pants ass crack down the bouncer finally got him back on stage and the show was over. The girls to my left were yelling, "I touched his penis! Oh my God I touched his PENIS!!" and "I touched his butt! I touched his butt!" Ladies, I wouldn't brag about that shit you probably now have every disease in the book on the palm of your hand. Congratulations and get the fuck away from me!
So that was the whole night. It was a ton of fun, definately one of the best concerts I've ever been to. While we were leaving, we almost got in a fight with the bastards in front of us who were littering ($500 Fine you assclowns!) and we were singing Panic! all the home and serenading all the people on the street. I LOVE PANIC! AT THE DISCO!!!!!! They rock my world!
