Writer's Block: Previously on My Journal
Mmmm - most of my journal recently has been fairly TW themed, and since alot of my RL friends are people who I know either don't watch it or watch it but aren't crazy obsessed fangirlies like me I'd probably have to explain much of what I'm talking about. "You see, you know Doctor Who....well there's this spin off show called Torchwood, which is set in Cardiff and..." Some of my friends, especially the ones who know me as the bubbly, outgoing, Lifeguard girl, would probably be surprised by the inner geek. My Folky friends would be less surprised - being a hippy and a geek is easier than being a sporty type and a geek.
I'd possibly also have to explain the concepts of Fanfiction and RPF. Which I KNOW would cause 99.9% of my friends to stare at me like I was an alien. Possibly an Ood.
There isn't much RL stuff on here at the moment - mainly just mentions of things like the Highland Annual, and they're all fairly well explained within their own posts!
