A day in the life of insanity........
Well today was SUPPOSED to be my day off work, but I had management training today from 9am-4pm, alot of paperwork to learn about and alot of boring BLAH BLAH BLAH. Well after that I stopped at Subway for a veggiemax sub and then at family dollar for some household provisions.....no sooner had I got home and there was a call from work. Dreading to call them back in fear of them asking me to work tonight, I called back anyways. Well, come to find out, the county case manager was there with the money for some of the consumers I care for, usually this is the coordinator's job, but since I am assistant manager I also have access to the safe. So I ended up going to work, I called the coordinator(Dawn) to let her know I had done this.....THEN she asks me to pull out the sheets from Jan and put the new sheets for Feb because she had them all set to go........ARRRRRRRRR!!! NO SHE DID NOT!!! And to top it all off, she never checked in February's medications so I had to do THAT too. I feel like I am doing more of her job than she is. I actually will have put in 50 hours this week......and yet I still came home and scraped all the border off the kitchen wall(NASTY!!!) and I even started prepping the bathroom for painting. Of course prepping had me itching to start painting, and before I knew it, I had 80% of the painting done with 2 coats...now all I have to do tomorrow is the trim work and around the goofy curved window. The blue looks SOOO nice in there, really seems to bring the bathroom to life instead of the old drab white walls. I am excited to see some things getting accomplished instead of just talking about them. Well I am tired now so I am gonna hit the sack so I can get laundry done tomorrow before work.
