*sigh**sigh**sigh**sigh**sigh**sigh**sigh**sigh**sigh**sigh**sigh**sigh*
In a perfect world, none of this would happen. Everyone would get along and everyone would understand one another. People would think before they act or at least evaluate and consider the consequences - each and EVERY time. There would be more than 24 hours in a day so that you can sleep your full 8 hours, work the full 8 hours, withstand the hours of traffic to and from work… and still have plenty of time to spend with their significant other, their best buds, their family, or even to meet new people. Gas definitely would not be more than $1.00 a gallon (since it is going back up… currently at $2.06-ish) There would be no tax, no debt, no hunger, no suffering, no sickness, no hatred. There would be harmony, peace and love everywhere. We'd all run around naked and throw flower petals in the air. ok...so maybe we can omit the last part. But the fact at hand is it’s not a perfect world and no one is perfect. There was no one great mold that any one person came from. The Great Ones worked hard, suffered and sacrificed so much to earn their place as the ones we worship and praise. We all make mistakes. We all make bad decisions. HELLO OUT THERE!!! We are HUUUUMAN!!!! Let’s just accept that fact and move on with our lives. Those who wish to remain friends should, those who don’t shouldn’t - let us all just GROW UP KIDS! We’re not in high school anymore. Some things aren’t worth fighting over or trying to point the finger at whose “at fault” EVERYONE or NO ONE is - I think the latter sounds better. Let us all start fresh and new. If we must go our separate ways… then so-be-it, but if it is time that everyone needs…. Then let us all stop hurting each other. No one wins in such a situation and it is always unfortunate to lose those dear to us. Anger and hatred, like Love, can blind us all. But we are all the same, kept alive by the rhythmic beating of our hearts. An eye for an eye does nothing but spread the hatred. You should at least try to listen to both sides. Everyone deserves that much and everyone owes it to themselves - at least that much. But hey, if it floats your giggly boat to jump on or off the bandwagon - by all means, do so, but in a peaceful way. No more fights, no more exchange of words, no more bloodshed, scars, or bruises. No one should have to pick sides. “We all break up into little groups of close knit friends, but that doesn’t mean that anyone has to pick one side over the other” (a very wise bald friend said something along the lines of that to me) so I leave you all with two things… 1. Either EVERYONE is at fault or NO ONE is at fault and 2. Happy Chinese New Year to all!
