dear diary,
gee, i never knew that mark and I can be so crazily picky. on weekends, we would both eat waffles for breakfast. I would be making my waffles with fiber one pancake mix. even though mark thinks my waffles are fine, he makes his own waffles. the fiber one pancake mix has eggs in them and he wont eat eggs.
and if we have mac and cheese for dinner, we would split the sauce packet in half. we would make our sauces separate. I use smart balance butter and half of the butter that's called for in the sauce. He uses margarine and uses the amount that's called for. I wont eat margarine or the full amount of butter.
if we eat fries, I would eat unsalted fries with ranch but he salts his fries and eats it with ketchup..
it's just so freaking silly that we are both vegetarians but are so picky on things. it's rare that we would eat the same things. it's even sillier to be buying 2 different kinds of the same things. like pamasan cheese. or maple syrup. i like sugar free syrup and drench my waffles with lots of syrup but he gets the syrup with sugar and only uses a tiny bit. and when we order pizza, he gets his half that's cheese only but my half has veggies. and if he does gets a vegetarian pizza with veggies, my half has onions but his half doesnt. isnt it weird? I think it's weird that we can compromise on this without pissing each other off. I guess we just both respect each other's eating habits and he just ends up buying 2 different kinds of the same thing.
