Driving a Stick Shift Truck
Dear Diary,
I'm back from driving a stick shift truck. Alright, I dont ever remenber having problems with starting the car and getting it to run but this damn truck doesnt like me.
POOP POOP CREEK BUMP BUMP dead.... WTF? I'm not used to the gas pedal either. The gas pedal, with 1 tap, it immediately goes very fast. It's crazy. I can't seem to get the clutch and the gas to go at the right time. so everytime I try it goes "POOP POOP CREEK BUMP BUMP dead.... " A manual car is something I HAVE to get one of these days. The control freak that I am, I have to get it to work right. I love to be in control, whether it be computers or cars. I'm less of a control freak and more of a compromising type of perosn when it comes to being with friends, animals, or hanging out with others but when it comes to machines, I have to control it.
Jason eventually got tired of me making the car die everytime I break, start up the car, or shift gears. I hope I dont kill it. Paul Okef told me that it doesnt hurt the car. Jason said it doesnt hurt the car. Why can't I get it right? Come on damn car!
It's fun. I love to learn. I wished I had a stick shift to learn on but I dont... a truck is already hard enough to drive, let alone figuring out how to do the whole clutch/shift crap. Dont get me wrong, once I figure out how to drive a stick shift, I'm buying a stick shift. yes yes, it is annoying as fuck but driving is boring if I dont get some stimualation and u know, control the car's transmission. *giggles* I'm such a tomboy. No wonder Marc never loved me. I was never into "girlie" things. I always want to go climb trees, mountians, throw snowballs, run around, play with computers, technology, cars, motorcycles, etc. A very non girlie thing to do. I guess Marc wanted a real girlie type of girl. He wants to sit and watch movies all day long, I love movies, just not all day long.
back onto subject. Paul Okef is giving me a lot of pointers online right now. It makes more sense to me now. I'm learning everything at once. I can drive now but well, still not great at it, learning to drive a truck THAT IS A STICK, and how to get the car to start and go without dying. I'll catch on one of these days. I know I will! I WONT GIVE UP until I can finally drive a stick because I really want to buy one, one of these days.
