In the time that had gone by since her arrival, Masako was still anticipating her return, somewhat in denial that she would really be stuck here for a very long time. But sadly, nothing had changed.
She remembered the idea she'd gotten from that girl she was talking to (she'd have to catch her name another time) to write a letter back home, in case she'd be able to send it some time. Now was as good a time as any to get that done. She gathered a pen and paper and began to write.

I seem to have gotten horribly lost, more so than usual, and I'm stuck on a train in the middle of nowhere.
Wait, there was no way he was going to believe this, and even if he did, he wasn't just going to let her off easy. Not that she was afraid of him, but she couldn't think of a single excuse at the moment for her disappearance.
