New job, new classes, new apartment

I'm in Boston, which is most certainly not Tanzania. I miss my Tanzanian friends, I miss my students, and I miss the unbelievable mountains and the steppe and Monduli...

We have to do what we have to do, right? (Ugh.)

I have a job working at the cafe in Barnes and Noble in the Prudential Mall. They waste a lot of things, and that sucks. The people are pretty amiable, with the exception of a slight few who seem a little reticent.

I am taking classes again this semester. For the first time in a year, I'm not working toward my degree by conducting research, but going the conventional route and sitting at a desk, being talked at by a professor. Probably, the most interesting class will be my one credit seminar on the classics of philosophy. Or maybe my Viet Nam Lit/Film/History class?

And I'm living in a new apartment, thankfully with two roommates who just got back from InterFuture as well - so we are experiencing a common struggle. It's good to have people with whom to get back into the swing of things.

Not sure there's much to report aside from this.
