"This is ridiculous."
"It's tradition." This earned him the patented Buffy Stare.
"Angel, I'm seven months pregnant, I weigh a ton, and I already live here."
The Look was returned. "You don't weigh a ton, you've barely gained the 25 pounds the doctor recommended, and you're my new wife, I'm going to carry you over the threshhold. Now stop arguing, you're ruining the moment."
Buffy rolled her eyes, but couldn't quite keep a smile off her face, and she did wrap her arms around Angel's shoulders.
It was a new chapter in their life. No matter what had happened to them before today, what they'd done, even their past relationship with each other--this was new, and nothing would ever be the same.
