Moving to Treasure Island?
I just interviewed to be a roommate at a place in Treasure Island. First off Treasure Island has nothing on it but section 8 housing, half of the island itself is a ghost town of abandoned naval buildings and is fucking scary at night. On the other hand, it's got that freaking gorgeous view of the entire bay. On the plus side, the people living there are geeks, and in the 20 minutes I was there we talked about clubbing seals, anime, and meth labs. The place even has a small storage closet under the stairs that they call the Goth Hole because they wanna paint the inside black and rent it out to emo goth kids who wouldnt mind living in a small cubby hole like a tortured artist. My only issues with the place would be it's a bitch to drive to work, living there would add 30 min to my commute each way depending on traffic. Unless I get that full time job at Daly City Library, in which case the distance is moot. But yah, I dunno, I hate strangers for the most part and even cool roommates turn wierd at some points.
