So here i am standing in your Update...i've always been standing in your Update
Well, i guess this is kinda a good news/bad news situation...
-th'good news is i do have access to a 'puter while i'm here at Sharky's after all...
-Th'bad news is they have no messengers on their 'puter whatsoever and their connection is a dial up...so i can check m'mail and this thing, but i can't talk to anybody 'till i get back home...and i can't call anybody (i wouldn't dream of makin' a long distance one here, it's not polite) and it isn't my number t'give out...*wimper*
As anybody that's read my past few entries, or talked to me in th'past few days can attest, i haven't exactly been th'most cheery of folks...in th'past few weeks i've had to endure:
-A pulled muscle in my back
-the fact that what th'parentals got me for christmas sucked balls...i actually did better shoppin' then they did (and i don't wanna hear a word 'bout money bein' tight cuz Bird got a new tv AND dvd player while i'm gettin' a throw for my bed and a damn robe!)
-Christmas day itself everybody wasn't speakin' to each other...it was like i was in a house full of strangers...
-Mom, Chip, and Bird are gone 'till Wednesday night (hence why i'm at Sharky's...he lives across th'street from th'plant so it's easy for me to get to/from work) travelin' from Tennesee to GA and to SC to visit family....m'grandparents in Tenn (which by the way this will make the 3rd trip in a row that i've missed for one reason or another....I WANNA SEE MY FUCKING FAMILY TOO!!! IT'S BEEN 3 GODDAMN YEARS!!!), my sister in SC, and Chip's family in GA....i don't get to go cuz i have to work...and it'd be a bad idea for me to just up and leave (not to mention the fact that i'd get no money for those days whatsoever since i'm a lowly temp) because i'm tryin' t'be on my "best behavior" so that i can get some small chance of gettin' on th'clock as an actual employee...(something that's lookin' like it won't happen for quite some time since i was recently informed that there are 15 temps right now, and there are permanent employees that were gone for some reason that are comin' back soon....yay....
-I did manage t'talk to Archie and Mistress yesterday...The first moreso than the latter...and Archie seems to be firmly filed in the "Stephen still needs to move to Cali" folder.....see Red? if you did decide to demand i come out there, you'd have back up after all ;)
