Necessary Random Fic Rec
Okay, so I've been up for the last two hours, unable to go back to sleep, and was checking out the forum at Twilighted. I saw that the thread for this fic had been moved to the top, so I checked out the last comment, and got the shock of my life -well, okay shock of my day. LOL
One of my fave fics is going to be updated very soon -hopefully this week! YAY!! And I can only hang my head in shame when I came to realize I had not recommended this fic yet! *head/desk* Forgive me spotzle for neglecting to mention your wonderful fic. LOL
With the update on the horizon, nows the time to go read the first 6 chapters if you've not before, and possibly go back and re-read them so that it's all fresh in our minds -I know I will be! :D
I adored this fic when I read it, and I'm pretty sure you will too. It's got tons of readers who love it, so it's not just me, and spotzle was even approached recently and asked if it could be translated into another language! (Correct me if I'm wrong hun, but it was Polish I believe? O_o) Yeah, pretty damn cool, huh? Anyway, I could go on raving about it, but I'd much rather you go read it. NOW! LOL

I just finished up another fic banner last night for one of my newest fave stories. The author and I have quickly become friends, as we share a mutual love of men in uniform. LOL I did this banner for her, and so I'm posting it here to show off. :D LOL

And now, I feel just a bit like an idiot. Remember the fic I did the banner for and ranted that I didn't get so much as a 'thanks' for? Well, the author just emailed me two days ago saying that she hadn't checked the email that the picture got sent to in a long time, so she just got it. (I find this hard to believe, as I went through the site to msg her, and it would have gone to the same email her reviews go to, and I'd recently recieved a response from her for the reviews I'd left. O_o *shrugs* Oh well.) Anyway, she said she loved it, and would switch out the banners after a little while, and put mine up. *shrugs* We'll see if that happens, but I don't really care now. I finally got some kind of acknowledgement, and she said she liked it so I'm cool with that. I do feel a bit of an ass though. :/ LOL I'm hesitant to post the art here though, after my rant. *rolls eyes* Maybe one of these days I will, but not today. LOL
Okay, gotta get up and going now. Gracie's got another of her ITS Workshops in Indy and I gotta get her up and ready now.
