Muzzyness galore
Yeah, we got hit by some cold winds, so it's about 45 or so out there right now. *shivers* Bah.
Finished a couple new projects - I made a new wallpaper for myself, featuring Seto and Moki during a couple of their reunion scenes. I'm pretty proud of the way it turned out, since I fiddled with cloud and lighting effects. Over the weekend, I also made a Cowboys 'paper for Dan - it took me the better part of the morning and afternoon to do, but it was worth it. Dan said it was better than 'papers he'd seen on a lot of Cowboys sites he went to, so I'm pretty pleased. (I'm addicted to lighting effects, it seems - I made it so the background looked like it was lit by stadium lights.) Then last night, I made a new icon to practice making animations. *points up* Ta da! lol Isn't Yuugi cute? ^^ I have an idea in mind for another icon, which I'll prolly make at some point this week.
In other news, I've got a busy couple weeks ahead of me. I have a number of rehearsals from tonight thru Sunday evening: tonight from 8:15-9, tomorrow from 7-9:30, and Sunday evening (time TBA). And since my sister got hired at Great America (she'll be in Rides - I dunno what section), I'm gonna call them up to schedule an interview during Easter weekend. That's right, I'm gonna come home for Easter break; I just got my train tickets, lol. I'll be coming home on the evening of the 8th (Thursday, which is also my dad's birthday), and leaving on the following Monday afternoon (12th), so hopefully I can pop in and say hi to a few people between Dad and getting an interview.
Acen is fast approaching, yay! Right now it sounds like we're a party of five - Christine just told us she'll be coming along. ^^ We did hit a tiny snag last night, when Jennie asked if she could come along. Since David's the one managing this thing, he's asking around to find out how everyone else feels about it. Personally, I'm not too keen on it. It seems strange to me that she would suddenly pop up and say "I wanna come!" right after Christine says she's going. I know for a fact that if she were to come along, she'd prolly take Christine elsewhere and hang away from the rest of us, which kinda defeats the purpose of Christine coming along in our group. That, and I don't want to risk any chance of a fight breaking out between Jennie and David. I don't care if she swears up and down that nothing will happen; if she came, the tension level would just keep rising. That, and the fun factor would prolly drop because everyone's more worried about watching for animosity. And if a fight did break out, that would kill it for everyone. This is our first Acen trip, and we're only going to be there for two days, so we gotta make sure to have a great time without worrying about who's saying what about who. I know I'm normally the forgiving one, and to be honest I had been on the fence about it for a few moments, but I'm more concerned about everyone having a good time.
And now I shimmy off to get foodage. Mwah! XD
