Whee, I actually feel replenished! Woohoo!
Woke up around 11 this morning, and cleaned up my room some - it wasn't exactly a wreck, but it wasn't sparkling clean, either, lol. Surfed around on the net for while, put my laundry in the wash, talked to Fred, got my laundry in the dryer, surfed the net a bit more, and after I got my laundry out of the dryer I took a nice, relaxing shower, then got some lunch and money. Then around 4:30 I headed over to Wal-Mart.
Wal-Mart was good to me today. I found a pretty white blouse to use for the play - as well as any given occasion - for $10.84, and I grabbed some more Listerine, floss, and a new toothbrush. Then, on a whim, I headed over to the CD section. That was a blessing. For just a shade over 25 bucks, I got Jeff Foxworthy's Totally Committed and Janet Jackson's The Velvet Rope. I tried hunting down Bill Engvall's Here's Your Sign, but they didn't have it anywhere. ;_; But all in all, it was a very good day for shopping.
Yesterday I sent an email to Chaffee - I got fed up with the bad internet, so I basically bitched to him a la Dad, manager-style. (Believe me, workers don't fuck around with me when I do that. XD) And this afternoon, he replied - apparently he can't block net access to filesharing programs, since they connect to the same port as regular Internet traffic. However, he has ordered a $15,000 packetshaper which should be up and running sometime later this week. That should help take care of the bad net problem, since upgrading to 2 T1 lines didn't help much.
I'm a happy Odie today. ^^
