up early
You know, I have to say that I enjoy waking up early. It's ingrained in my system now because of work, but really? I have no desire to sleep into double-digit numbers.
I finally went thrifting yesterday at Value Village. A lot of it was junk, but I managed to score a kitschy mug, a cream/sugar set for tea, a small ceramic casserole dish and a funny little ceramic bear statue. I'll take pictures eventually. The damage was $15, so not bad. I'd really like to visit better antique stores though. I know I'll be paying more, but I think the selection will be a bit better.

1. Speaking of morning, sunrises. I love the signal of a new day.
2. Stars. seriously, I love stargazing while camping in the middle of the woods, and there's hardly any light to pollute the sky.
3. Starbucks. Yeah, yeah, I'm a yuppie. But try to keep me away from those pumpkin lattes, or (my favourite budget drink) a café misto made with French roast coffee, and flavoured with caramel syrup. mmm haha!
4. Sand. Lying on a sandy beach, feeling the warm sun beat down on you (while you're coated liberally in SPF 45, of course)? lovely.
5. This one will be kind of obvious, but spring and summer. I love all seasons (although post-Christmas winter just drags on and gets a bit annoying), but summer has become one of my favourites these past few years. And spring is just lovely.
6. Showers. Seriously, I love taking showers. It's just so nice to scrub yourself down before the day starts.
7. Sex. Enough said, I think. cheeky!
8. Sandwiches. Bread, meat, cheese, vegetables and condiments. Delicious. Especially when they're all toasty.
9. Subways. I like taking the train, I like subway stations.
10. Sundaes. Especially from Dairy Queen. Hot fudge, strawberry or pineapple, please!
