I gave birth...
...to a new computer. We assembled a new computer out of a hodgepodge of new and surplus (old) components, and after some trouble, she's now working beautifully.
Also, we named her Peorth.
Its so fun to check the names of the computers in our home network:
(1) Urd :: my old computer, circa 2001, upgraded to the max of everything her motherboard can handle; will be getting a new graphics card, which will put her almost at par with Belldandy.
(2) Belldandy :: my current computer, circa late 2007; working fine and is very upgradeable.
(3) Skuld :: the laptop me and my brother share; its a business laptop which we use for games (no surprise there)
(4) Lind :: Bea's laptop, which was bought from the US; is running on Vista, almost at par with Skuld.
(5) Peorth :: the new addition; almost at par with Belldandy, except that her hard drive is a whopping 500gb; she'll also be getting a new graphics card which is better too
