So yeah. I guess ill post about the cruise now. There was alot, and i wanted to make an uber big post. But im back into the dark dank dirty funk of southwestern PA, so im slightly less anxious to type it all out.

Friday
We got on the boat around 1 and chilled around until our luggage came. When it came, we swapped job classes from heavily armored pittsburghan dark knights to brightly colored cabana monks. We watched the boat sail off from The port in Miami and layed in the sun for a while. It was by far the most relaxed i have been in well over 5 years. We ate food and explored the boat for the duration of the evening.

Saturday
The boat arrived at CocoCay early in the morning. CocoCay is one of (if not THE) smallest developed among all 200 islands in the bahamas area. The island wasnt even a mile long. Regardless, it was still ridiculously pretty. I got to swim in the ocean for the first time in a decade or more. Me and Missy explored the island and collected wicked seashells. We then ate an awesome cabana lunch and retired to the boat. The formal dinner and captains welcome show were also saturday evening. The captains welcome show entailed in free drinks and an introduction of the entire crew. Very cool this was. We went to sleep slightly earlier saturday evening, since we had to get up really early for the next days tours.

Sunday
On sunday morning, the boat arrived in Nassau. Actually, the island itself is called New Providence. The city itself, taking up around 70% of the island, is called Nassau. This island is the capital of the bahamas and houses 2/3rds of the entire population. Around 200,000 people. Nassau is the most developed island in the entire bahamas area. The first tour was split into two. It began with a boat tour of the entire island, and then turned into an underwater excursion that showed off all the aquatic wildlife. Very interesting. On this tour, we saw seaside mansions owned by celebrities such as oprah and chuck norris. The second tour began with the city area. Then they moved onto some historical locations such as fort charlotte. Lastly, and our favorite part, the ardastra gardens and zoo. This place had its animals hanging around right in front of the people that visited. No cages or restraints. We hung out with some flamingos and a peacock. Refer to my girlfriends journal to catch some pictures of the animals. It was a damn blast.

Still Sunday
When we got back from the tours, we got ready for the dinner show. Before dinner, there was a vegas-style show called "The Beat Goes On". This show was a musical medley production of the best music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Was it cheesy? Yes. Was it good? Shit yes. The singers and dancers were broadway quality, and the music was awesome. They did Thriller and Bohemian Rhapsody, so i was wicked satisfied. After that, there was a smaller show during dinner. This japanese band of three guys went from table to table playing requests. All they had were acoustic guitars, and they played ANY song you asked. Thet played Sweet Home Alabama, The Devil Went Down to Georgia, and even a song from KISS. It was great. A perfect wrap up to dinner.

Monday
Monday Sucked. We woke up early, dragged ourselves off the boat, through US customs, onto a plane, our of miami, all to come back to pittsburgh. Boy was it depressing. Teh suck is here.

Moral
Heres the moral of the story, crew. Never go on a cruise. Never. The ubersuck that youll experience upon arriving back home is too much. And there is no possible way to be able to afford enough cruises to keep your addiction at bay. And yes, by this i mean that cruises are terribly incredibly gorgeously awesome and you should tackle any oppertunity you get to go on one. Just be prepared to come home.

So thats the cruise. It went way too fast. I think me and missy are gonna start ditching cons and just start going on cruises. I swear, when you go on a cruise, the staff treats you like royalty. Its good to relieve stress. Especially when you work 2 jobs and go to college on a weekly basis. I mean shit, when i got home, the first thing i did was work two days straight. Tuesday was 14 hours and today was 12 hours. It was the worst slap of reality anyone could get. But honestly, to those who make good money (or have the uncanny ability to save money) i highly reccomend looking intro cruises. Coming home might suck, but there is nothing in the world that will relieve your stress like a cruise.

By the way, people suck. We came home and everyone was whining all up and down the place. It makes me emo to hear people emo. If you have a silly little high school problem, we dont care. Keep that in mind. And i dont want to get any comments bitching about how im "bragging about going on a cruise". I went on vacation and am posting about it. Behind an Lj-cut, no less. If you dont get free time, if you dont make money, if you dont have good connections, too goddamn bad. This is not the fault of other people who enjoy themselves. If anyone comments with anything like that, i wont delete your comment. Instead, i will belittle you and quite possibly punch you if you are within physical proximity. Dont ruin our vacation with your emo. /endemoguy

Okay, theres my angryguy session. Sorry about that, but i just realized after coming home that i quite dislike most people. Selfish and overdramatic fucks, they are. No worries though. If youre reading this, theres a 98% chance that you're uber cool. Adam loves his friends very much, so to the REAL friends, thanks for being the shiznit. :D

EDIT: AS a clarification, i dont mean that all people who complain are horrible people. Life sucks, and sometimes all you can do is complain. Emo refers to the people who enjoy complaining and let it become their life. So to those of you thinking i hate you because you complained about something bad in your journal, i very likely dont mean you. :D

I need something else to talk about that isnt the cruise or emo... Hm. Oh! My new Gamestop is very pretty! We just opened it today. Its one of like 5 freestanding stores in like...the tri-state area. Its uber clean and roomy. Im gonna do my damndest to keep it tidy. Oh jyeah! E3 is in two weeks too! Goddamn, i cant wait. I become excited whilst reading about all the pre-announced games that will be shown, let alone all the super duper surprises that it will likely entail. Fun fun and good times for all! I love video games. :D

Well, i guess thats everything. I gave a cruise report, i yelled at emo people, i talked about my awesome new gamestop, and i discussed my affinity for videojuegos. I am thinking that my post is quite the complete.

Ive got a morning class tomorrow, and its pushing the late hours, so i shall retire. Night all.
