History:
__Being orphaned as an infant, Nill has been raised by her grandmother Liza and her uncle Ernest for as long as she can remember. She doesn't know that much about her parents; neither guardian talked about them, and after the few attempts to find out left them either saddened or quickly changing the topic, Nill decided it wasn't that important. After all, the family she does have loves her more than enough for her to be happy. Maybe some people would have laughed her granny off as being a cliche cat-lady (surely a couple dozen felines around the house wasn't that odd) and perhaps most would have branded her uncle as a lecherous pedo (oh, he didn't do anything besides dress her up constantly from time to time), but Nill couldn't complain.
__Growing up, she's had to move around quite a bit due to her uncle's work. As an itinerant priest, he was always being assigned to the more problematic parishes in the less affluent areas of Europe. And, being a man of the cloth, he always went: a Bible in one hand, a white cane in the other, and his little family in tow. Luckily, money was never a problem, as Liza had her own little business. Her line of custom-made gothic lolita dresses kept the family financially secure (and once the Internet took off, business really boomed). This past year, though, Ernest randomly decided to accept a more sedentary post offered to him by Rome. Although why he agreed to Tokyo, only God knows why. So for the past several months, Nill has been acclimating to her entirely new surroundings. She's since learned Japanese (not completely, but she's getting there), adding it to a repertoire already holding English, German, and some French.
__Of course, having been shuffled around Europe so much, Nill's education has come entirely from being home-schooled by her grandmother. Now that they've finally settled down, however, both Ernest and Liza agree that Nill deserves a proper school experience. Lillian Academy was the foremost choice for scholastic and religious reasons, and so they had her sit for the placement exams. Nill passed by a respectable margin, and is kind of looking forward to the experience.
Personality:
__Look up "shy" in the dictionary, you'll probably see Nill's picture. She's terminally bashful, and very prone to hiding under/behind other things/people when startled or scared. Despite knowing four languages now, she rarely speaks aloud and usually defaults to quickly scribbled post-it notes; when she does talk, she can't help stuttering. This shyness, plus the fact that she's always been moving around, means Nill has never really had the chance to make lasting friends. However, once she does connect with someone, she has a tendency to get clingy: she'll grab onto sleeves or shirt hems, and then follow you wherever she can.
__Although being raised by a priest, Nill isn't a Bible-thumping kind of girl. She tries to stay open-minded, but her naivete often leaves her agog at some normal things - like being able to wear pants (her uncle is big on dresses). Nill is also very much interested in learning the more domestic arts: cleaning, cooking, but especially sewing so as to help her granny with her work. Course, she still has a lot to learn as she can't keep a stitch together or boil water, but she tries her best, bless her heart.
Appearance:
__Extremely petite, Nill has straight shoulder-length blond hair, bright blue eyes, and an clear, fair complexion. Nill's off-hours wardrobe mainly consists of gothic-lolita type dresses since that's all her uncle and granny buy/makes for her.
