By far the most amazing and jaw dropping of the films! Just plain genious and wonderful!
I had the most fun, I've been waiting for this all day and was just so excited when I got there and was first in line along with some other Potterfans. I think having a very loud, screaming, laughing, excited audience made the movie even better. When that WB logo came up everyone broke into cheers and applause. From the opening scene I was really into the film, I know the film rushes a bit until they get to school but I didn't mind it at all, the pacing was fantastic. As for acting I must say
. These children have trully become amazing actors. Dan was wonderful, from his angsty moments, to that amazing shot of him on the couch after Cho turns him down (I love it!
), to his physicality and his break down after Cedric dies. Emma, wonderful as always, her best scene is easily her and Ron's fight at the Ball, it was perfect. Rupert, funny as always but much more mature, he really got into his Ron role this time and his and Harry's relationship was right on spot!
The tasks:
The first task was wonderful, fast paced and nerve racking like it should be.
Second task, very mysterious and kinda creepy.
Third task, it was even better with all the phsycological thrilling of it, the maze attacking you, I screamed quite a few times...
As for the graveyard scene and Voldemort... WOW!!!
Ralph Fiennes is someone I trully respect after that, he simply was Voldemort, his voice, his movements, everything was perfect. I bow down to thee Ralph! (Though Voldemort did scare the crap out of me...
)
When Cedric gets killed I didn't cry right away, it was when Harry brought him back and did all the sobbing (BTW, Dan was WONDERFUL in this scene) it really affected me and I think I cried more than in any other movie.
As for the Champions, even though they have few lines, they embody the characters wonderfuly. Clemence as Fleur is gorgeous and Stanislav and Robert as Viktor and Cedric are just plain hot.
All in all, I LOVED this movie, by far the best one and quite possibly one of my fav films of all time.
PS/Dan was hot!
And Viktor and Hermione were so cute!
