[Dean goes straight from worry to panic, not taking the time to mess with video when he sees Mary on the network. He comes in the back door, attempting to pretend to be calm enough.]

Mom! You okay?

[She's in the kitchen pulling the oven open where a wave of smoke rolls out. Waving a hand to try and clear it all to reveal a burnt pie inside. When she hears Dean speak it's then she turns to face him.]

I forgot I was baking and didn't set the timer. [Mary is not happy that her sudden forgetfulness could have burned the house down with all of them in it. DON'T CRY, MARY.]

[Sam rushes in, full-on emergency mode, opening the window. And then realizes there's no actual fire. He glances at Dean across Mary, face uncertain.]

Uh, it's okay, Mom. Dean likes burnt pie.

[Sam might get a glare from Dean because now he has to eat a whole burnt pie.]

Yeah. Burnt pie's the best. [Pasted on grin. He is worried though and it shows in his eyes if it doesn't in his face and his voice.]

You could come keep me company whenever you're free today. [Mostly to keep an eye on her so she doesn't do anything stupid.] I think I have a bottle of wine around here.
