A/N: Alright as promised, here is chapter 15 for this week. Hope you guys will enjoy it ne. As usual, the Love POV here are belonged to Ayame and I (TJ), so we can't change that fact, it's like the backbone of the story. Comments are loved and of course critics are welcomed as well, just be easy on us ne... We don't want to be majorly ‘brain dead’ after reading it ne... *CHU*.
Now to the MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: After a long discussion, Ayame and I both decided that we will go on a constant hiatus; meaning from now until December, we won't be updating our fics. School work is too overloaded for us right now, and of course exams too, which keep on coming without a stop -_-". We're so sorry for the sudden hiatus now. Please forgive us, ne. Thank you guys.

Chapter 15
[Akanishi Mansion]
“Did Aya eat something last night? I forgot to ask, sorry,” Jin asked sheepishly.
“Yeah, because she was annoyed by Midori’s whining,” Kame laughed a bit.
“Good…” Jin said lowly as he turned to the fridge, “Want something to drink before we start?” he offered.
“Thank you, then I’ll have water,” Kame replied with a chuckle.
“Why are you chuckling?” Jin asked out of curiosity.
“You sound a little shy right now, it’s cute,” Kame commented.
“Cute?” Jin quirked his eyebrow, “I think the cute one should be you,” he smirked.
“You know, if it was someone else I’d probably punch them, but you’re my friend, I won’t do that,” Kame said with a grin.
“Friend?” Jin said with a little surprise.
“We are, right?” Kame was taken aback at Jin’s question.
“I think we are,” Jin chuckled.
“Then why did you reconfirm?” Kame chuckled along, “scared me for a second there.”
“I’m sorry, it’s just that this is the first time someone called me their friend,” Jin said.
“Hm? First time?” He couldn’t help but asked.
“People don’t normally call me their friend, unless we talk for more than two months or something,” Jin explained.
“I see, well you give out this cold aura that scares people away,” Kame said, “not to mention your reputation as the loveless man, people take it the wrong way.”
“Yeah,” Jin nodded, “it does feel lonely, I think,” he admitted.
“Then try to smile more, I mean, it doesn’t hurt to smile at strangers, you never know who the stranger might be,” Kame suggested.
“It’s too risky and stupid,” Jin stated.
“Like I said, you never know if you never try,” Kame said with a smile.
“You seem like the type to try everything at least one,” Jin noted.
“Well, my mom told me that unless I’ve tried it once, don’t ever claim that I dislike something or be sure about something.” He explained.
“I see, no wonder, Midori isn’t afraid to take a risk on almost everything,” Jin laughed.
“Yeah… she takes the advice a little too far, that’s why I always have to watch out for her, before she does something that she would regret for the rest of her life,” Kame said proudly.
“Ah… I guess she has never done something that she would regret, ne” Jin complimented.
“That’s what I failed at,” Kame mumbled.
“Did you say something?” Jin asked as he heard Kame’s murmur.
“Nothing,” Kame pretended, “anyway, what do we need for ingredients,” he asked trying to change the topic.
Jin noticed this but didn’t want to ask further, only started to answer the current question.
[2 Hours Later at Basketball Practice]
“Ok guys, practice over, I’ll see you tomorrow,” Pi dismissed the team as he hurriedly ran to the locker room and took a quick shower. As he dried himself, he took out the phone and typed in a message then hit ‘send’ to Midori.
*BEEP*…*BEEP*…*BEEP*…
Pi turned around as the sound of the beeping as another phone went off.
“Oops…” Midori said as she appeared at the entrance of the locker.
Pi was surprised to see the girl fumbling with her phone. Once she turned off the beeping she looked up and gave him a shy smile. Pi blinked but then remembered that he only had on a towel.
“Sorry, the guys said you were in here, so I came in,” Midori said as she hid behind the door.
“It’s ok,” Pi said chuckling, “I’ll be out in a minute,” he hurried to put on his uniform and ran out of the locker room.
“Hey,” he greeted the girl, “I thought you were at the kyudo practice,” Pi said.
“Yeah, I was, but then I got kicked out by Ryo,” Midori pouted.
“Why?” Pi surprised to hear that because Ryo was never so impolite as to kick someone out of his club, especially not a visitor to top that.
“I sort of annoyed him, I think,” the girl smiled not too innocently. She started to recount what happened to Pi.
[Flashback- fifteen minutes]
Midori wandered away from Ayame on account of the other girl’s quiet concentration. She spotted Ryo practicing on what she thought were the omato, “The ones used for super long distance are the omato right?”
“Yeah, the hoshi moto are the mid-distance targets,” Ryo said after his arrow hit the target, “Get bored of Aya already?”
“She won’t respond to my questions anymore,” Midori pouted.
“I hardly blame her, what do you want?” He arched an eyebrow before picking up another arrow, “Not that I particularly mind that you’re hanging around.”
“That’s surprising. I’d peg you as the type to hate visitors,” Midori mused, she watched another arrow fly.
“It would be impolite to send someone off unless they were being a distraction. I haven’t seen you do much distracting so I don’t mind. But you wouldn’t talk to me unless you wanted something, unless you’re truly that bored now. You could always go watch basketball practice. Pi would probably freak out if you showed up and start showing off though. Have fun on your date yesterday?” he asked absentmindedly while adjusting his bowstring.
“Quite a lot actually, though I’m curious as to how you know that?” Midori smiled.
“Who do you think Pi told after he got home? Obviously not Jin,” Ryo rolled his eyes, “I had to listen to him for an hour after getting home before I convinced him that I really did want to go to bed. Luckily Jin didn’t press the matter when he asked who he was out with yesterday. He specifically said as long as the girl he was with wasn’t you or Aya he’d approve. Poor thing, at least he has Ayame’s approval. It’ll help him, even if potentially just minimally,” he lifted his bow back into position.
“Aya’s approval?” Midori grinned.
“I truly hope you’re not that dense,” Ryo released an arrow.
“Not as dense as you,” Midori chimed, “Of course I know, at least I had an idea after talking to Aya last night,” she glanced across the dojo to the other field with the hoshi moto, “What kind of person is Masaki-senpai?”
“Masaki?” Ryo turned to where she was looking, “Oh the second year?”
“Mhm,” Midori confirmed.
“I don’t exactly know too much about him. I heard he’s nice though and is supposed to be smart, why?” Ryo questioned.
“According to Aya he’s ranked number one amongst the second years. Why?” she smirked, “Seeing if he’s worthy of my Aya.”
Ryo narrowed his eyes lightly, “Worthy of your Aya?”
“He seems interested in her, so I figured I’d ask you about him. So what do you think?” Midori leaned against the wall, “I give it… a week tops before he asks her out. How long do you think?”
“I somehow doubt it’ll ever happen,” Ryo huffed, he frowned when his arrow missed completely, “I’m sure she’s scared all the boys away by now with how she’s rejected all the past ones.”
“If she had scared them away already they wouldn’t still be confessing. Besides, she hasn’t scared you off yet,” Midori smirked.
Ryo released his shot too soon, “Midori…” he turned around, “Get OUT!”
Midori’s eyes widened, “Eh?”
“Go bother Pi, or something, I don’t care just get out,” he glared at her.
Midori smiled, “Of course. I’ll see you later Ryo,” she bounced over to Ayame, “Ryo’s kicking me out, I’m going to go bother Pi has to be done with practice soon.”
“He’s never kicked out a visitor before,” Ayame answered with wide eyes.
“I might’ve distracted him too much. He missed three or four shots completely,” Midori stated proudly before leaving the grounds.
[Present]
“No wonder he kicked you out,” Pi laughed, “Who is this Masaki guy?”
“A really cute senpai,” Midori shrugged and smiled when Pi frowned at her words.
“You find him cute?” Pi asked a little too interested.
The girl nodded, “he would totally make my list,” she said calmly
“Your list?” Pi’s voice started to get unsure.
“Yeah, he would,” she said, “but too bad, someone else made my list before he did,” she smiled.
“Someone else?” Pi kept asking in shock.
“Yup…” she confirmed certainly as she glanced over to Pi, seeing her senpai wearing his moody expression, he’s just too cute for words. She noted silently.
“Wanna know who the guy is?” Midori tried to lighten the mood. Pi was wary for a while before nodding. Even if he was rejected he wanted to at least know who had taken Midori’s interest before him.
Midori walked slowly back to Pi’s side, she smiled as she tiptoed pecking the senpai on the lips, “this guy right here,” she said as she observed closely.
Pi blinked a few times in shock but then a smile crossed his face.
“You’re too cute for words,” the girl complimented, “and easy to tease too,” she added.
“Not as cute as you though,” Pi said as he wrapped his arms around the girl’s waist, “I should teach you how to give kiss properly,” he said grinning.
“Oh… now I’m having a kissing lesson with the captain,” Midori said jokingly.
“Shouldn’t you change that?” Pi said as he inched in closer.
“Never knew that you could be this bold,” she leaned in closer, “baby,” she whispered as the two of them started their kissing session.
[Kyudo Club]
“Why did you kick Midori out?” Ayame asked the one thing that bothered her.
“She was being a distraction,” Ryo said not caring.
“What did she do or say?” Ayame asked concernedly.
“Nothing that you should be bothered about,” Ryo said as he stood up, “Don’t you have something to pick up at the library?” Ryo tried to change the topic, “Go ahead first, I’ll catch up with you at the library later.”
Ayame noticed the change in Ryo’s tone of voice, but she decided to ignore it. After all, she didn’t want to dig into some mess that Midori created. She started to walk out of the practice room and into the locker room to change to her uniform.
After a few minutes, she was out and heading towards the library.
“Ayame?” someone called her name as she turned around.
“Masaki-senpai?” the girl said with surprise.
“You’re heading to the library too?” he asked.
“Yeah, I need to pick up some research for our class activity, and maybe some good research on traditional fashion,” she listed.
“Traditional fashion?” he frowned.
“Oh… that is for our activities for the school festival,” she clarified.
“I see,” he nodded.
“Do you need to pick up something?” she asked.
“I’ve had a book on reserve for a few weeks now, and they sent me a notice that it came today, so I’m going to get it,” he said.
“Oh… shall we go then?” she suggested, while the guy nodded. They both started to have a light conversation on the way.
At the same time, Ryo was leaving the club and started to lock up, as he saw the pair talking and laughing.
“He seems interested in her, so I figured I’d ask you about him. So what do you think?”
Midori’s words rang in the back of his mind, he tried to shake it.
“Don’t think about it, Ryo,” he told himself, but then again, looking back at the pair, the words started to ring louder in his mind. He cursed himself silently.
[Library]
“Your friend from before is Midori right?” Masaki asked lightly.
“Yeah, I’m doing this research in part so I can tell her about it. She’s never worn kimono or yukata before and she’ll want to know something about them. I have plenty at home I guess I’ll have to get her to try them on I guess,” Ayame sighed, flipping through a few pages, “So how has practice been going for you?”
“Pretty well lately, though Nishikido-sensei seemed to have a bit of an off day…” He replied.
Ayame looked up in shock, “Really? I haven’t heard of or seen him have a bad day in years,” she went to the second book in front of her.
Masaki frowned lightly, “How long have you known Nishikido-senpai? You two seem relatively close.”
“Not particularly,” she smiled, “Well, we’ve known each other my whole life. He’s one of nii-chan’s best friends so… we’re not really that close I’d say. We really don’t get along too well normally.”
“Aya, are you ready to go?” Ryo tapped her on the shoulder, “I told Jin I’d get you home for dinner.”
“Ah, of course,” Ayame collected her things, “Thank you for keeping me company Masaki-senpai.”
“Eh, call me Aiba, it feels weird being called senpai when you’re the same rank as me in kyudo,” Aiba smiled lightly.
Ayame nodded before hurrying after Ryo who was already making his way out of the library, “Wait Ryo, where’s Midori? You did kick her out of practice.”
Ryo pulled out his cell phone and showed her a message.
From: Pi
Message: Did you have fun kicking Midori out of practice? Hope you’re having fun thinking about it. Anyway, I’m taking Midori home seeing as you’re annoyed with her. Make sure Aya still gets home safe or Jin will have your head.
“Alright, let’s go then. I want to see what nii-chan and Kazu-nii made,” she smiled happily.
Ryo nodded and walked with her to the parking structure.
