We survived the Hurricane :-)
Wow! I'm so awake right now and I don't know why. I finally past out like after 1am. But I'm up... went outside to see how my complex held up to the storm. A friend posted a small clip on youtube showing some of the wind and rain from yesterday's hurricane but for the most part things are ok.
Roberts Tree was split in half and a fence came down but his home is ok. We saw alot of cool rain and we had a good day spending time together. Lino, Michelle and I just bunkered in and watched a ton of DVD's and Lino made some chilli that came out pretty good. This morning I had some strawberries and cream oatmeal :-D. We ended the night with me starting the Naruto collection. John came down for a week and lent me the 1st 3 seasons to start on it. He said if I liked them he would let me borrow the rest ... so far it seems ok I like alot of the characters especially Hinata for some reason... she just seems to jump out to me...but Naruto himself is too hyper and is kinda annoying... but the rest is fine. I'm almost done with the first season. I'll probably be done with all 3 before he leaves... maybe... dunno just yet... I still have to work this weekend. And he wants to hang out some more... so I don't know how much of a distraction that will be... maybe I'll be done with season 2 at the most.
It's been a weird week for me I think. And for some reason I can't explain why. The good thing that happened this week thought is that I was able to talk things through with Lino about getting my dad's truck and what's going on with the bills and everything. So we are on the same page again... it's been awhile since we've been on the same one. But things are good now. A lot of misunderstandings and such cleared up.
So speaking of the truck. I will be getting it next weekend. So that means I need to haul ass on getting my car ready to be turned over to my grandparents. So this is what I will be trading ... one of these 1996 Saturn
for one of these 2000 Nissan Frontiers....
I found these pics online by the way... but they look exactly the same (ok minus the gold trim on the saturn). So yeah....
