Optional Holiday
I could have taken the day off from work today... but I chose not to. Wish I had now. I'm sleepy and I can tell it's gonna be boring today. I still haven't posted about SXSW. I should. But I can't seem to get myself to sit down and type out everything we did. I don't know why?
... Man I'm sleepy...
So, I'm here in my office and am trying so hard to keep my lids open. Last night Lino and I went over to Sulema's to hang out for a while and watch some movies. We would have gone earlier in the weekend but John came down from Laredo. John and I went to see the new spoof Superhero movie and IHOP later. We had fun. Then we came home and I showed him alot of the stuff that I got from SXSW. (OK... new day. I didn't finish the entry above because I am trying to do alot of things at the same time. So even though it's dated 3-31 I'm finishing on 4-1, anyway.....) And I showed him a ton of Youtube clips that I've been looking into to pass some time that I should be doing homework during. :-( I got home yesterday and had dinner with Lino, hung out on the couch with him watching Chicken Little and passed out at like about 6:30pm and I was gone for the rest of the night. I was super tired as I mentioned earlier but the good thing was that I was seriously wide awake for taking the little one to school this morning, came back home ate breakfast, watched tv, and got ready for the day. I am so glad my schedule has changed at work, my hours were cut yes but I needed them cut back with as much school as I have going on right now. I'm out about $200 a month... but it's a price I'm willing to pay to keep my sanity. I was really stressing out there for a while. Well back to work. Working this entry a little at a time was very helpful to achieve alot of my work and blog at the same time...Maybe I should do that with my SXSW update... just write a little everyday and keep the entry private until I am finished like this one. What I should do is do that with my homework.... Later.
