Rain... Rain... Go Away...
this song had been chanted/cried/called for maybe thousands of times from thousands of people mostly in Manila and nearby towns by now...
ever since last week's storm, i don't think there had been a day when the sun actually came out to shine... i caught a quick glimpse of it last Monday when i was entering the building where i was working it. by the time i reached the 12th floor, it was already raining hard. oh God!
the huge downpour of rain, despite the fact that there is actually no storm hitting the country, had caused quite a problem, from floods to landslides... a lot of people had lost their lives, livelihood, homes to the unending downpour of rain...
so LJ friends, if you could, please join us in praying for the wellfare of everyone and for us to survive this... and also for the sun to finally come shining again... also, in the view of things, je_philippines started a fundraising effort to aid the victims for this most recent calamity. as in previous fundraisers, i am participating once again... in case you're interested in buying (or selling) from me or from any of the participating individuals, please check out this post
