TITLE: Perfect
CHARACTERS: Matsumoto Jun, Inoue Mao, Ohno Satoshi, Shida Mirai, Joushima Shigeru, Nakai Masahiro, Sada Mayumi, Koyuki, Matsuda Shota +others
PAIRING: Jun/Mao
RATINGS: PG
DISCLAIMER: The only thing i own in this story is the plot...
AUTHOR'S NOTE: to be started, hopefully, by February... a.k.a. One Chance will not be forgotten... :)
SUMMARY:
People say that they are a match made in heaven. They say that if this is heaven’s doing, then heaven has got it in for them.

Two people forced into a relationship they didn’t really want because of an obligation they never really declined or accepted. And they’re living a life that everyone thought is perfect.

design by Valentino, his version for what he sees as the future Princess Kate's wedding dress... i'm just in love with it... :)

"She looks so beautiful..."

"He looks dashing..."

“They look so perfect together…”

“It’s like a fairy tale…”

“This is just so sweet…”

Those were the words that echoed in the church as the wedding of the year unfolded before their eyes. Technically speaking, it’s the second wedding of the year already, the first one having wrapped up hours ago, featuring the same couple. Their fathers wanted a traditional Japanese wedding while their mothers hoped for a church one. To avoid dispute, they decided to give in to both requests.

This is why Inoue Mao is standing next to Matsumoto Jun to say their vows. Again.

“Do you, Inoue Mao, take Matsumoto Jun to love and to hold, to cherish, in sickness or in health, for richer or for poorer, ‘til death do you part?”

After a quick glance at her husband, she told the priest “I do…”

“And do you, Matsumoto Jun, take Inoue Mao to love and to hold, to protect, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, ‘til death do you part?”

She felt a small squeeze in her hands before she heard him say “I do…”

“By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you man and wife… You may now kiss the bride…”

It took just one heartbeat before she turned around to face him and she saw a huge smile in his lips. Another heartbeat more and he was raising the veil that did nothing to hide her face. One last heartbeat and his lips are on hers.

Lights from the cameras flashed to capture the moment that would go on to be the perfect picture of a kiss, with a hint of a blush on her cheeks and his attention being directed only towards her.

It’s a perfect picture of two people in love.

Except that pictures can also tell a lie.

so, how was it?
promising? or not?
i'd really like to know what you think... :)

and here's another story that i started in another site and thought i could share here too...
that is, if people would like to read it...

TITLE: Against the Ghost of You
CHARACTERS: Ikuta Toma, Horikita Maki, Yamashita Tomohisa, Matsumoto Jun, Inoue Mao
PAIRING: Toma/Maki, Yamapi/Maki, Jun/Mao
RATINGS: PG
DISCLAIMER: The only thing i own in this story is the plot...
SUMMARY:

Maki is the type of girl who loves with all her heart. Toma is a boy who’ll do anything for the girl he loves. Sounds perfect, right? It would, or should, except that they’re both caught in some sort of a one-sided love affair.

And then there’s Yamapi, who thought and says he came back to help Maki move on. Except that, maybe, that’s not all there is to it. Especially since his return started a rollercoaster ride for the ones he left behind.

This isn’t a typical love triangle. In fact, it shouldn’t even be considered as a love triangle. Because no one should, and could, ever be made to go against, and win against, literally, the ghost of a past lover.
-----

“Hey there…” Maki greeted smile as she sat down on a fresh patch of grass, her face glowing as she smiled.

Yamapi turned around from where he was seated, and his lips too broke into a huge grin at the sight of her.

He was just 13 years old when he first saw her chatting at the cafeteria with her best friend during his first day at his cousin’s school. He transferred there because his parents died and his mother’s brother decided to adopt him. The first thought in his head was that she’s the most beautiful being in the world, more than anyone or anything he had seen or heard of.

15 years later, he still thinks that way.

“Hey…” he exclaimed. “I almost thought you wouldn’t come…”

Maki chuckled, shaking her head a bit. “How could you say that? There’s no force in heaven and earth that could stop me from coming here today… Of course I’d come…”

Yamapi never knew that he could smile brighter, wider, than he already had, but he did, the moment those words left Maki’s mouth. And she smiled too, as the two of them sat there for a while, enveloped in nothing but silence and the soft blowing of the wind around them.

After a while, Maki spoke up again.

“The bakeshop is doing great…” she started. “Mao-chan and I are thinking of opening another branch…”

“Really?” Yamapi exclaimed, looking at her proudly.

He knew that at an early age, Maki, and her best friend, Mao had always had the penchant for making pastries and baking. It didn’t take long for them to start a mini-bakeshop that grew over the years, especially after they both graduated from college. As of the moment, the shop has three stores other than the main store that the two girls still manage personally.

“I’ve always loved your creations…” he added.

“Yeah…” Maki smiled. “Jun-kun even said he would finance it if we really want to expand…”

“It’s about time that that guy takes interest in his girlfriend’s passion… He’s too rich already anyway…” Yamapi chuckled, referring to his cousin, Jun, who is Mao’s long-time boyfriend.

Maki giggled. “I think Jun-kun’s quite torn about it actually… Not the money issues of course, the expansion issue… If we expand, it’ll really make Mao-chan, and me, happy… But that will also mean we’d be busier than ever, which would then mean she might have less time for him…” she said. “But I think Mao-chan’s doing one last big sprint before she settles down… I think she knows that Jun-kun’s ready to pop the question…”

“Oh…” Yamapi exclaimed, his shoulders dropping ever so slightly. He noticed that Maki looked a bit melancholic too.

But before he could say anything, Maki smiled again.

“And yeah, Toma-kun’s been a big help with us too…”

“Oh, really?” he asked, forgetting his momentary lapse of sadness as his eyes flashed at the mention of the name.

Toma was one of Mao’s co-members at the English proficiency society she joined back in college, who also happens to be the son of one of Japan’s biggest tea magnates. He also managed to save Mao’s life when he dived after her when Mao almost drowned during one of their club excursions. He’s been close to the two girls since then. For him and Jun however, he’s not really amongst their list of favorite people. Although Jun did declare that he owes the guy his life for saving Mao at a time he couldn’t. as for him, he just can’t seem to fully like the guy.

“Don’t start getting jealous now…” Maki chuckled. “He’s just being nice… He asked us to cater their annual shareholders meeting two months ago… I think they got interested… A lot of them had been coming to the shops since then…”

“Just being nice… Yeah right…” Yamapi snorted. “I still don’t like that guy.”

Maki sighed. “I know you and Toma-kun had never and would ever be best friends but he’s a really a very nice guy…”

“Sure…” Yamapi replied sarcastically, his eyes travelling towards the road nearest the area where he and Maki was seated and he could only frown more, seeing the aforementioned guy, standing outside a car, obviously waiting for Maki.

And then he heard her sniff. Looking around to her quickly, he realized that tears are silently flowing down her face.

“Hey…” he started, reaching out to wipe away the tears from her cheeks. She got there first though, and was able to wipe away the tears before he could. “You know I hate it when I see you cry…”

“I just miss you, you know…” she said, her lips quivering slightly. “So much… I can’t believe that it’s been three years already… It feels like it was just yesterday when I last saw you…”

“Maki…”

“Anyway…” she added quickly as she hastily wiped away the fresh batch of tears that’s about to fall from her eyes again. “I have to go now, before Jun-kun calls the police for a manhunt… I didn’t tell him or Mao-chan where I went…” she added with a slight chuckle as she stood up, hitting away the stray grass and dirt that clung to her jeans.

And then she leaned over to brush away some of the leaves that covered part of the stone tablet before laying down a bouquet of fresh flowers along its edge.

“I love you…” she whispered finally before she turned around and walked away.

Yamapi sighed as he stared at that tablet regretfully for a while. It read:

YAMASHITA TOMOHISA R.I.P.

Looking up, he saw her walking towards the car and Toma, who now seemed closer than he was earlier.

“I love you too…” he replied as her hair danced with the soft air that blew against her.
-----

“Where the hell is she?” Mao murmured as she paced right in front of the main shop’s entrance, echoing the words that her boyfriend had been uttering about half a dozen times already in the past hour alone.

“Mao…” Jun started from where he was leaning at the side of his car, his voice placating as he reached out to touch her arm.

“Don’t!” Mao snapped quickly, turning to glare at him. “Don’t you dare start telling me to calm down or something especially since you were the one who almost demanded a search party set-up when I told you I didn’t know where Maki-chan is! She is my best friend and I have the right to feel worried!”

“I wasn’t going to say any of that…” Jun replied endearingly after watching her rant that out. “I was going to tell you that I see Toma-kun’s car coming and that maybe you shouldn’t be blocking his way…”

Mao frowned, turning around and saw for herself that Toma’s car indeed is about to come into his parking space. Jun yanked her to him just as Toma maneuvered his car to enter his parking space. There was still an amused look in Jun’s face when Toma finally stopped the car, prompting Mao to hit him lightly, both in annoyance and in embarrassment.

She gathered herself just in time though, to watch Toma move around his car and open the passenger’s side door for an extremely apologetic-looking Maki.

“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you where I was…” she started immediately as she stepped out, looking straight at Mao.

Mao looked at her sternly for a while before she sighed. “You better!” she cried before steering her into the shop, to interrogate her without the presence of the two men, leaving Jun and Toma behind.

“I thought we all agreed we’re helping her get over Pi?” Jun asked Toma after a while as the two of them stood there, watching the road although not really seeing anything.

“She’s going there anyway, whether I accompany her or not…” Toma sighed, putting his hands in his pockets. “I figured she’d be safer if I drive her there instead of her just going there on her own…”

Jun sighed too. “I guess you’re right…” he admitted after a while. “I should have realized immediately that she’s going to be there today, especially since today is his death anniversary…”

Toma didn’t say anything for a while. But when he spoke, it was not exactly related to what Jun just said.

“She was crying earlier…” he said, the muscles in his cheeks moving as though he’s restraining himself. “She knew I saw her which is why she wiped away those tears before I could get to her…”

Jun didn’t say a thing. He simply placed a hand on Toma’s shoulder.

“Your cousin was one lucky guy…” Toma continued, chuckling sarcastically. “No, scratch that… He still is…”
