so yeah... my parents suddenly decided to drop on the 26th, which was a good thing for various reasons, but was also a tiring thing for various reasons too...
my parents' appearance, particularly my mom's, is a surefire guarantee that i'd have to leave the house daily since my mom would insist to be accompanied to wherever she decides to go to buy whatever she decides to buy... it's generally a good thing too since she'd buy me and my sister some clothes (and then decide on whether she wants to buy for her and my dad too--which she did) unfortunately, it also meant that my foot, my whole leg for that matter, would be hurting like hell even before 8:00 at night since we'd be walking and walking and walking through most of the day... me, my sister, and my dad has this running joke amongst us that whenever my mom would make up a plan, we wouldn't really be giving it too much attention since there's about a 60-90% chance that something would change before the plans are actually executed (that's how fast my mom's mind changes... after taking too long in making a plan...lol)
anyway, another unfortunate thing during their stay here would be that my longest stay in front of the computer would be limited to 10 minutes... total for the day being less than an hour...
which is why i haven't been able to do much typing these past couple of days although i did manage to come up with a couple of stories that i had to write down on paper just so it'd get out of my head. apparently though, lately, my ideas flow more fluently in front of a computer than on paper...
anyway... i they just went home earlier this afternoon and i managed to type down two of those stories...
here goes...
TITLE: VS Harry Potter
CHARACTERS: Matsumoto Jun, Inoue Mao
PAIRING: Jun/Mao
RATINGS: PG
DISCLAIMER: The only thing i own in this story is the plot...
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Written because i LOVE Harry Potter and because i'm sort of torn between going to watch the HPDH part 1or not (i'm getting mixed reviews... some says it's good, some says it isn't...)
When she first saw him reading his Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix book, she just let it go.
She was already asleep by then, fully aware that she’d have to wake up early the next morning for a shoot, when she felt him awake next to her on the bed. Propping an eye open, she saw that he was indeed awake, sitting next to her on the bed, with an open book on his hands, and his reading glasses on his eyes.
“Hey…” she started softly, catching his attention. “Why are you still up?” she asked, moving closer to him.
“I couldn’t sleep…” he smiled, looking down at her. “So I decided to just read… Did I disturb you?”
“No…” she shook her head, angling it a bit to look at what book her boyfriend is reading. Seeing the title, she frowned a bit, “Didn’t you finish that book already?”
Jun turned the book around to look at the cover page before looking at her again. “Yeah, I just wanted to read it again…” he smiled before his right hand reached out to start playing with her hair. “Go to sleep Hime… I’d be sleeping in a while too…”
Knowing him as well as she does, she knew that he’d most probably take another hour or so reading before he actually goes to sleep. She didn’t argue though, especially since the hand gently playing with her hair was so soothing that it was luring her back to sleep.
“Get some sleep Ouji…” she murmured first though before succumbing to sleep.

When she saw him reading again when she rejoined him at the living room after she finished doing the dishes (she insisted on doing the dishes herself since he had somehow managed to squeeze in time in his highly busy schedule to make them a great dinner) and saw that the book was already the final book of the whole series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, she couldn’t help but frown a bit.
She knew that he had finished the book because he’d finished all the books from the wizard boy’s series in an average of two weeks from the moment they’re released on the stores (he manages to find time to read the books despite his busy schedule and everything else he’s doing, which amazes her).
Grabbing her script on the table, she sat next to him
“Weren’t you done with that book too?” she asked looking at him, her unopened script book still on her hands.
“Huh?” Jun turned to her a bit distractedly before his mind caught up with what he just heard. “Yeah… But with so much happening around and with me since I last read it, I thought I’d catch up before the last movie gets released…”
“Oh… Okay…” Mao nodded, accepting that his reasoning is somehow valid. Besides, she couldn’t really focus on that at the moment since the script book on her hand demanded her attention.
With a shrug, she simply leaned on his shoulder as she opened her script book. She felt his arm moving as he draped it over her shoulder, allowing her to position herself better against him.
She started her own reading as her boyfriend focused his attention on his favorite book once again.

~~~~~
When she reached his apartment a little bit earlier than planned since she, Shun, and Nariyama Hiroki managed to finish their scene earlier than the schedule, and saw him at the sofa again, almost like that time she finished doing the dishes (except that this time, he’s nearer the end of the book when he was just starting the first time), she couldn’t help but heave a deep sigh.
It wouldn’t be that she disliked the attention he’s pouring in his book since he really doesn’t have a hobby that really demands as much attention as his reading does, but she would admit that she’s starting to get jealous. After all, when he’s reading, particularly when he’s reading Harry Potter, his attention on the book is almost a hundred percent, a percentage only she and work gets to have.
Depositing her bag on the table (by that time, Jun had finally noticed that she’d arrived as he looked up and smiled at her. ‘Finished early Mao-chan?’ he asked.), he went straight to the sofa and laid her head on his lap, forcing him to move his book higher.
“What’s up?” he asked, leaning down to look at her face. “Bad day?”
She almost wanted to smile, happy to get his full attention, except that she’s also aware that he is still holding the book with his left hand.
“Nothing much…” she sighed, facing him completely, showing him her pout. “I just realized that you’re starting on Harry Potter once again…”
“Huh?” he frowned. “I’ve always loved the book, you know that… What’s wrong?”
She heaved another sigh. “Yeah… It’s just that when you start reading the book, you tend to focus all of your attention on yet… You tend to ignore me…”
She saw him look at her eyes fully for a while before a wide grin broke on his lips. Leaning over a bit to deposit the book on the table (and making her heart jump in glee with the action), he moved her so that her butt, instead of her head is on his lap, as he leveled her head with his.
“Oh… Is Mao-chan getting jealous of a book?” he asked teasingly.
“Of course not!” she pouted, blushing furiously as she made a move to get out of his embrace. It wasn’t such an easy thing to do though, since he had her on a strong hold.
“Yes you are…” he insisted, hugging her closer to him. “And I find it kind of cute…” he whispered to her ear.
Before he could do anything else though, she poked him at his sides, the only way she knew for sure to be a guarantee for him to loosen his hold on her. Anticipating his split second reaction, she moved fast enough to get out of his embrace and a few steps away from him, a playful grin on her kips already.
“Oi! You brat, come back here!” he cried.
“If you can catch me…” she dared him with a chuckle as she ran towards the kitchen. Hearing the hurried footsteps following her, she couldn’t help but smile even wider. She sure got his attention.
And somewhere, in the back of her mind, it read:
INOUE MAO=a big resounding (and written on permanent ink) 1; HARRY POTTER=2
And she knew, that at the end of the day, she still wins...
TITLE: Magic Fingers (a.k.a. When Becky Thought 'I Can Not Be Falling for Aiba Masaki!)
CHARACTERS: Aiba Masaki, Becky
PAIRING: Aiba/Becky
RATINGS: PG
DISCLAIMER: The only thing i own in this story is the plot...
AUTHOR"S NOTE: The plot came to mind when i was massaging my leg and thought it's feel great if there's someone who's good at massages who'd do it for me... Then i remembered Aiba and his usual gift to the grandmothers during their Mago Mago days... And this fic is inspired by that special gift of his... I might actually write one for each of the members except that i can not remember what Sho's gift is during those times...
“I’m fine…” Becky assured the staff member who assisted her to the girls’ greenroom. “Seriously, I am… That was just a silly accident… My foot is fine…”
“Are you sure?” the staff member asked. “I could find some ice to put on your feet… I’m pretty sure we have some lying around here…”
Five minutes ago, right after the shooting for Tensai! Shimura Doubutsen’s studio bit was done, and while she was headed to the greenroom to get changed, she accidentally twisted her ankle over some of the wires used for the studio lighting. It had hurt so bad that she had to sit down for a bit and to get assistance to get to the greenroom.
“Of course…” she smiled, something she’s used to being a variety show talent. “Don’t worry about me…”
The staff member looked at her closely for a while before she nodded and exited the greenroom, leaving her alone. It seems that their other co-hosts had left already judging by the lack of bags in the area. To a certain degree, that was a good thing, since the others would start fussing on her when they find out what happened to her foot, and she didn’t want to trouble them with that. It was a bad thing though, to a certain extent, since a tiny part of her wants at least someone there with her.
Trying her best not to put pressure on her affected foot, she limped towards the sofa.
Being the optimistic person that she is, she had already considered the timing of her little accident as a good thing since it would and could have happened prior to the studio shoot, or while she was on location, both situations being a lot more difficult in comparison. But while it is her talent to look at things on the positive side, ignoring pain isn’t, especially when that pain is very persistent in demanding her notice.
She had just turned around to stretch her leg on the sofa so that she could massage it herself when she caught a glimpse of a big ball of blur bouncing pass on the corridor through the open door. A few seconds later, she heard a screeching sound before that blur bounced back to stop at the door. It turns out that the blur has name: Aiba Masaki. And it seems like he had just been told by Shimura about his next job location.
“Ne, Becky-chan, I heard you slipped?” he said, seeing her there.
“It was just an accident Aiba-chan…” Becky cried, not wanting this particular co-star, of all people, to start fussing over her. “I’m not as clumsy as you…” she added jokingly.
“Is your foot swollen?” Aiba asked, entering the room, his eyes focused on her foot and obviously oblivious of what she just said.
“It’s not!” Becky said immediately, putting the foot back down on the floor. The rushed action triggered a shot of pain from the infected area, making her wince.
“It doesn’t look like it’s all right…” Aiba, who was already by her side, said. “Don’t you know that you shouldn’t over exert yourself when you already know that you’re in pain?” he lectured as he sat by the other end of the sofa before carefully assisting her leg to his lap.
“What, you know that from experience?” Becky grinned, no longer even attempting to fake her way out of the situation since she knew he’d read through her anyway. She is also already aware of the idol’s past lung troubles, troubles that Aiba himself told her during one of those few times all of them, as a group, would go out and drink, and Aiba, of course, would be one of their lousier drinkers. During those times, she’s assigned to take care of him, mostly because she doesn’t drink much herself.
Aiba looked at her briefly, a small, resigned smile on his lips as he shrugged before he looked down on his lap again, his hands starting to massage her ankle.
She almost winced. She wanted to wince. But somehow, that action was lost between the decimating pain she feels on that foot and her wondering how Aiba managed to do that.
There was something really soothing with the way his fingers moved against her skin. It’s warm and soft and she’s willing to bet that those features are part of the reason why her ankle felt a lot less painful. But the contact also elicited some sort of electricity flowing through her body.
She had actually closed her eyes, grateful of the pain being soothed away from her foot. But it only took her a couple more seconds before she opened her eyes again and stared at the top of his head (since Aiba was looking down to look at her ankle), her jaws dropped, and her eyes bulging. And she almost choked at the thought that suddenly entered her mind.
‘I can not be falling for Aiba Masaki!’ she thought vehemently as Aiba continued to massage her foot.
It’s not that it is impossible for her to like the guy, especially when he does have some very likeable points. But, well, Aiba is Aiba, perhaps that is enough reason. That and the fact that he’s an idol, a Johnny’s talent, and that already tantamount to big time problems for any girl, especially one who is a talent too, like her self.
Besides, she had already decided that she should not, and can not be falling in love with anyone at the moment, deciding to focus on her life and career instead.
But as she stared at the back of his head, and as she felt his fingers on her skin, his smiling face started surfacing on the surface of her thoughts. For some reason, she could hear his hearty laughter even if he’s not laughing at the moment. She could see in her head the way his eye crinkles whenever he smiles or laughs. Or the excitement written all over his face when he’s about to be shown some kind of animal he’d always wanted to see and have. For some reason, those images made her feel suddenly happy, almost as happy as the easing out of her pain.
(Thankfully) Before her thoughts could go anywhere else, or conjure any other sort of ridiculous image, a figure suddenly appeared at the doorway, making them both turn towards it.
“Aiba-chan!” Gussan, Yamaguchi Tomomitsu, called. “I’ve been looking everywhere for you… Me and Ken-san are going for a drink… You want to come?” he said before finally taking notice of her foot on Aiba’s lap and hands. “Becky-chan? You hurt your foot?”
“Yes…” Aiba replied but she was quick to play it down. “I just tripped… This guy here just wouldn’t want to let it go…”
“She was wincing earlier…” Aiba told Gussan who had moved in closer for a look.
“I wasn’t!” Becky objected not that that either men gave her any notice.
“And it kind of look a bit swollen too…” Gussan pointed out, reaching out to poke a finger at her ankle.
For some reason, the contact of his skin, which wasn’t that much colder from Aiba’s, made her foot twitch.
“Tsk… Tsk…” Gussan shook his head as both men turned to look at her. “You think you can walk?”
“Of course I can!” she insisted, pulling her leg from AIba’s lap and placing it back on the floor. It still hurt but it was a lot less painful than how it was a few minutes earlier. She was able to mask her pain too as she looked at the two men proudly and said “See?”
“Are you sure?” Aiba asked, looking at her with concerned eyes.
“Of course I can…” she repeated, smiling at him.
“Okay then…” Gussan exclaimed, straightening up and turning to Aiba. “If you’re coming, better hurry up! Ken-san’s already almost finished preparing to leave…”
“Oh… Okay…” Aiba shrugged, standing up.
When the men reached the door, Aiba turned around to look at her one last time, something quite different with the way he looked at her.
“Are you sure you’re going to be all right?” he asked.
“Of course Aiba-chan…” she smiled, nodding. “Thank you…”
Aiba smiled, that particular smile lighting up his face. “No problem…” he said, giving her a quick wink before getting out of her sight.
Finding her heartbeat suddenly go faster at that action, she shook her head, blaming her highly imaginative and over active mind for coming up with ridiculous ideas such as her falling in love with the variety idol.
Looking down as she tested pressure on her foot, she couldn’t help but smile though, sensing that her foot was a whole lot better. Pushing herself to her feet and walking a bit, a thought, quite similar to the ideas that had just earlier filled her mind, popped up.
“Well, falling in love with Aiba Masaki might not exactly be a bad thing…”
