No, if they knew what it was like to be hurt and abused by your own father, they wouldn't be commenting at all. If people are going to look down at you for that, then they are not worth the effort of even breathing around.

...You can be strong, Angela. You just have to keep going. And no, it's not their job to harrass us about our parents. It's none of their business. Period.

i try...someone said that some of these people are 'testing' me.to see how strong i am. i don't understand why someone would want to do that...

You're not a whore. Far from it. You don't use men for pleasure. Your father is wrong...nothing but a fuckin' coward if you ask me. If people look down at you for THAT, then they are not worth it.

I can see that. A little cruel to do it this way, though. Or maybe they just want it to slide off of you, so you can ignore it...still cruel.

It isn't. None of it is. What happens with your family stays with your family. Don't give two shits about what anyone says.

DADDY called me a whore. a whore because i apparently would 'tempt' him, just by being in the house, and he'd beat me up too. mama called me a whore too, and that i deserved what happened because i caused him to want to force himself into me, and there was a time when i BELIEVED that. BUT things happened and...i try not to believe that. it's hard when your own PARENTS tell you you deserve it and that no one will fucking care, because you believe it, but you don't WANT to believe it. that's why THEY will never understand what it's like...they...they won't know what it's like to have their daddy pin them down, beat them up and stick their dick in like it ISN'T WRONG! and they don't understand that I KILLED him, to get him AWAY because i hate him so much and they just keep telling me that i somehow took it like a good girl and whatever else they want to say because they're SICK ( ... )
