I wanted to know about what my grandparents had been reading back in the 1950s, so I googled and found a place where many old issues of People's Daily were available, so I read some news reports around the Spring Festival of 1951. Most of them were about the Korean war, and of course there were a lot of patriotic propaganda and hatred to the American Imperialists, which were among my expectations--but I didn't expect the hatred to be that strong...

I'm glad we are not in a war now, nor do we have so many countries as our enemies.
