I am about to update my 100 Snapshots and my Mission 101. Fun times. :)
On Saturday night we didn't end up drinking loads because Chloe was ill so it was just Charlie, his Mum, Dave and I.
It was still fun but Charlie was in a bit of a mood, and I was in a bit of a mood due to the computer and due to the fact that I never get to use my own freaking computer at home at the moment. I know that is soon to change but still..
Anyways, I had posted on a discussion board that I had an issue with the term 'True/False Question'. Charlie was arguing with me about it saying that if the term was 'True or False Question' then that is ok, and I was saying it is not. I was saying that when you are presented with a so called 'True/False Question' it cannot be a question as you cannot respond with the meaning of the answer as an element of the meaning of the question. Therefore, it is not a question. It is a statement which is either being quantified as truth or falicy by the respondant.
Very few people seem to see my point of view on this and so I am going to construct what will probably amount to a mini essay supporting my hypothesis that one cannot use the term 'True/False Question' and have the sense of the word 'question' hold true in doing so.
In other news, I slept all day yesterday pretty much and had a bad night last night.
Charlie is in a great deal of pain and I am still ill.
Dad also woke me up at 10am yesterday so that was not fun.
I then watched Napoleon Dynamite (how I missed him! lol) and went back to bed.
Oh, but we watched Spain kick Germany in the behind! Woo!!
I have nearly finished Sense & Sensibility and am thus closing in on a few Mission 101s. hehehe
