Hey guys... This is my first english M/K story, so please don't be too hard on me. ;) I'm German, so my english isn't the best. Usually I write in German, but I thought I should give it a try.^^
Title: None
Fandom: Harry Potter
Characters: Katie Bell/Marcus Flint
Rating: PG-13, I suppose
Summary: Marcus and Katie spend some time together, talking and enjoying each others company.
Author's Notes: I would like to dedicate this to the amazing
jenszabo, because she's a wonderful and very inspiring writer. Sadly, this little One-Shot didn't turn out the way I wanted it to; it was much better in my head, seriously. I screwed it up while I wrote it. =/ Anyways, hope you like it!^^ =)
And to explain a bit beforehand: I'm playing Katie in a RP and someone I found on a character search board plays Marcus. In one of the two RPs where I play her, she's 17 and he's 21; so it's canon-compliant, I think.^^ xD I tried to picture them the way they are in that RP. My RP-partner comfirmed me that I did a good job on her version of Marcus, which I'm really glad about.^^
She was lying in bed, smiling and feeling completely at ease. Which was a little strange, considering the fact who the person lying beside her was. But somehow she didn't care at all. It just felt so right.
Slowly, almost lazily, she stroked his dark hair. It was so unbelievable, yet it was so real. How on earth did they end up here? Oh, of course she could remember each and every time they met since they made that god-damn deal, especially those after he'd first kissed her. But it felt like so much more than simply lust, and she was fairly sure she'd never felt that way before. And it was kind of frightening her.
It shouldn't be that way, they were so different and if someone found out, she was sure all hell would break loose. Her common sense told her it wasn't good, that it would get them into serious trouble, but at the same time she felt as if her reasoning had completely left her. What did she care about others anyway?
He lifted his head a little, as if he was too tired to lift it further than that, and whispered softly: “What are you thinking about, Katie?” He was looking at her with a small smile on his lips and a warm expression in his face. She smiled back at him, pulling his head closer, but not kissing him. “Nothing and everything, Marcus. Mostly about you. I think I like you far more than I should”, she answered in a whispered voice, earnestly and most of all honest. A grin quickly spread across his face after she'd said that.
“You do? Then I think I'll have to say it's mutual.” His lips brushed gently over hers. “In fact, I think I'm falling in love with you, Swan”, he whispered just inches away from her mouth before kissing her again, this time more firmer and demanding. Katie felt herself blushing slightly, a comfortable feeling of warmth and happiness rushing through her body at his words. He was the only one to call her that way, referring to her Patronus. It was so intimate, but somehow she loved this more than she could have ever imagined. It wasn't a very creative nickname, but it was something other people didn't think of and the way he said it always caused a shiver running down her spine. “I think I'm falling in love with you as well”, she answered, still smiling.
His kisses wandered down her throat, until he reached her shoulder. Nuzzling her neck, he mumbled: “Merlin, you're amazing. You smell so good, and you taste even better... I still can't believe this is really happening...” A soft moan escaped her lips at his soft touch and she closed her eyes in pleasure. “So do I. It's still feeling like a wonderful, unbelievable dream, yet I know it's true every time I see one of the marks you left on me”, she retorted, while he was gently stroking down her right side with his hand. It was just too good to be true...
Smirking slightly, he said: “Speaking of which... I think I haven't given you one yet.” Carefully, as to not hurt her too much, he teasingly bit her shoulder and then sucked at the spot he'd just bitten. She squirmed a bit as pain and pleasure surged through her body at the same time. It felt so incredible; he always seemed to know how to make her hot and satisfied, and it should have scared her, but in reality she enjoyed it more than anything in the world. Not even Quidditch or Ballet could compete with the way he made her feel. And that had to say something.
A little later, he had his arms loosely wrapped around her, while she cuddled herself to his chest. They both lay silent, listening to each others breathing. Katie slowly and lightly moved her hand up and down his side, savouring the way it felt under her fingertips. All these muscles from Quidditch she never even had the slightest clue of before; she just loved them, there was simply no other word for it.
Suddenly, Marcus grabbed her wrist and said lowly: “You know what you're doing there, right? If not, stop it or you won't be leaving here for another two hours at least.” Katie raised her brows a bit and looked him in the eyes, a slightly amused look in her own ones, and she was grinning almost wickedly. “Who says I wanted to leave yet? And maybe that was just my intention...”, she answered in a seductively low purr. “Actually, I was just admiring your chest and stomach. I think I have to admit I love those muscles of yours”, she then finished saying.
“Oh, really? I'm so honored...”, he retorted almost mockingly, before grinning widely and pulling her into a deep, breathtaking kiss. A few heated moments later, he pulled back and said: “You know, I'm not the only one with an amazingly fit body here. And I sincerely think your chest feels much better than mine.” He grinned again, only slightly this time, but she couldn't keep herself from rolling her eyes a bit as she was smiling at him. “Just stop talking and kiss me again, you Big Bad Bear...”, she demanded while pulling him to her. Their lips met in a passionate kiss, which soon led to more... Their worlds reduced to that moment, to what they did together, and everything around them seemed to be forgotten, didn't seem to matter at all. It was just them, and no one else. They could stay there forever.
Later, they lay beside each other again, skin on skin. She was curled up in his arms, her eyes closed shut and smiling, breathing in his deep scent that always got her knees weak. He held her in his arms, his nose buried in her hair, and he was smiling as well. She smelled fantastic, he thought. Maybe this was what paradise was like... Well, of course it wasn't all good and easy, not even risk-free. If his father ever found out about this, they'd certainly both be dead before they realized. Okay, maybe they'd be Crucio'd to insanity before; that was truly possible with his father. After all, he was the one who arranged that damn wedding with Lucretia Yaxley, of all people. That woman was probably the most evil one he had ever seen. Marcus hated her, and that feeling was completely mutual. He'd rather die than marry her. Compared to her, Katie certainly was like pure heaven. He would've probably given anything to stay there forever, just to escape his unfortunate, dooming future.
