UK Film Council Axed By UK Government
The ConDem Government have gone one step worse today. It isnt bad enough that as a disabled person they discribe me as a scrounger and scum but now they take away any bloody chance of me getting a job.
Apparently they are axing the film council to save money. The film council is one of the governments biggest earners, earning them approximately 28 billion a year. It is ridiculous. British film was just reaching its pinacle, after years of adversity it was finally at Hollywood standards with the production values and the quality of the films produced, now it is cut off at its best. How many years until the UK film industry recovers? God knows. I almost think it isnt worth finishing my degree now.
