There is something different about her. Kyouya Ohtori couldn’t put a finger on it but he knows that it’s there. He watches her closely, carefully. She goes through her daily routines unperturbed or unaware. Kyouya asks in bed after making love.
Tomoyo flutters her eyelashes, sleepy and satiated. “I’m pregnant,” his wife whispers into his ear.
He inhales sharply. Her bittersweet smile tugs at his heart. As he exhales, she closes her eyes and waits. It’s his fault, he knows, for rushing. Kyouya kisses her in delight and fear.
Foolish boy, Tomoyo thinks fondly, you didn’t expect that did you?
