Home Sweet Home!!!
Man I thought it was just my damn computer at school that would make me lose my entries. I guess not. Let me restart.
Ahhh how good it feels to be back in good Old De Pere!! Feels good to me sleeping in a much bigger bed than those damn twin sized beds that are 6 feet off the groud! Why does Oshkosh have to have poky ceilings?? Does it really help? My nuckles and arms get scrapped up. They are so poky that you can stick beer caps into the ceiling and they will stay up there!!!! But anyway..
So about a week or two I have had this little cough, nothing to even think about. It was just a pain in my ass while in class or wherever it is quiet, like the library - but I'm never there so. So I came home Friday to a brother who I guess now has/had the flu. yeah the widespread of the flu throughout the US has hit our little house in De Pere, WI. So of course I stayed away from him as much as I could. It wasn't hard because he was either sleeping or in the basement. So this little cough of mine started to get a little worse. Then Saturday afternoon I started to get a headache and my head felt like the size of Russia and I became extremly cold!! I mean - I had four blankets on me and I was still getting goosebumbs!!! Then Sunday morning I woke up and felt like shit!! I fely exhausted and I just woke up!! So I went back to bed for like another 2 hours. yeah it got me out of cleaning the house because yesterday we had a bunch of family over to decorate Christmas cookies!! That is probably the only good thing about this sickness. So today I had a dentist appointment. Should I really have gone to the dentist with being sick and all?!?1 Oh well - I did. So my dentist was like, the main symptoms of the flu are: headache, cough, fever. Well I had all of those symptoms!!! So I guess I had the 24-hour flu! Though I still have the fever, and cough, I feel like I am coughing up of my lungs - watch out for me!!, and a little headache. Enough of this.
Nothing will be under the Christmas tree this year for me. :( :( :( That's because it is outside in the driveway!!! I guess that is WAY better than any other thing that could fit under the tree!! Though we did get a treadmill this weekend!! I guess you can also consider that part of my present, though I believe my parents got it mostly for my brother. He's on a diet and wanted a treadmil to help lose the weight. It also helps me out with getting myself in shape by January 5th for softball practice. I guess we are going to be doing a lot more running/conditions shit this year. Got a new coach, so new philosophy and such.
I am just glad that I got this flu or whatever it is, after all of my finals. yeah that's right! I'm done with the fall semester! I have to go back to school on January 5th(start of fall interim) no not for class, but for softball!!! That is the start of our season!! Three weeks of practice over the fall interim. So that's where I will be from Jan. 5th - Jan. 20th-something. But I will be in De Pere for a lot of that time, since practice isn't until 5:30pm-7:30pm every night!! So I can still come home after practice and do whatever and sleep in and drive back to Oshkosh in the later afternoon!! So it won't be bad at all!
I can't wait until other people come home from school so I will have somthing to do other than just sit at home and pick my seat.
Talking about philosophy, I think I did very well on my final in that fricking class. Oh my god I can't tell you how much I didn't like that class. I was failing, yes failing, like a D or F, first ever in college, so I hope that last final helped me out a lot! I guess cheating is one of the best way to get through life!!! I'm only kidding!!! It's like I get ADD only in that class. There are way to many distractions in that class. I'll only name two: my teacher with the way he dresses!! and the fact that i sit right by the door and I HAVE to watch every single person that walks past the door. My roommate, who does herself have ADD, thinks I should go to the doctor and get tested. I was like, yeah whatever. I don't need the most over prescribed drug to help me with my attention. Well maybe I do. Screw it!
So I heard of the radio today thanks to Sara's Dad, that Martina McBride is coming to County USA in June!! Oh my god - Now I definately have to go. Along with her is: Rascal Flatts(My Favorite!!!), Brooks and Dunn, Motgomery Gentry, Keith Urban, Alan Jackson, Lonestar, and many more!!!! Oh my golly I just can't wait!!!! Tickets are now on sale!!! They go up in price this weekend - must get mine now!!!
