Have you ever had a dream that left you with a palpable sense of frustration? Tell us about it.

Oh boy, have I. I think my most frustrating dreams are the ones that feature me being back in high school. As someone who couldn't wait to get out of there the first time, it's something akin to a nightmare to be back in it. I can remember my locker ( Read more... )

Wow you can manipulate your dreams? That sounds amazing! Heh, if I could do that, walking out of high school and bolting would probably be the first thing. (Though, I did have another dream about high school a few days ago -- I was attending some function there and was being escorted by Jean-Luc Picard, then we got caught up in this murder mystery, and I spotted Shinzon in the crowd. It was all very weird.)

*bg* Yes, I do recall that Voyager episode! It was one of the good ones. :) Of course, my favorite episode of the entire series was Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy, but that episode with the dreaming was also pretty cool. Janeway stared down antimatter and antimatter blinked. *giggle*

Ok, it cracks me up that Boba Fett is your cue, but I actually realize that I don't really have a clue who Boba Fett was (I've heard the name, but when I look at the character, it doesn't ring a bell.)

Aw. I have no idea who the handmaiden(s) is/are. I really need to rewatch Star Wars, especially now that my girls are 7 and 10. I love Leia. She's an awesome princess.

Ah, the handmaidens, I fell in love instantly with them when I first saw TPM, for all the reasons you listed. Plus, yeah, one of them was a freaking decoy Queen, which is ten kinds of awesome.

Heh, I think Leia and Kathryn Janeway were probably my childhood heroines. Then the handmaidens when TPM came out, of course, but those two were the start of it. :)

Heh. My seven year old got a concussion two years ago and they were trying to talk to her about princesses in the ER. I heard, from across the room, I HATE PRINCESSES. LOL. I told them to talk to her about dogs. I had a conversation with her about aliens in the ambulance.

Also, I'm a bit older than you. I think I only saw the first prequel of Star Wars. I don't even think of those movies when I think "Star Wars". The handmaids sound awesome.

I was 28 when TPM came out. I liked the movies, but didn't have super strong feelings about the prequels. I mean, I thought the first prequel was just not a great movie and by that time, I wasn't watching movies the way I had when I was younger. My hubby doesn't like going to the movies, so I didn't try to go see them. Er, does that make sense?

I think people got angry about how goofy they were? I can't even remember. But the original movies were pretty damn goofy too, if you stop to think about it.

I certainly missed the rugged rogue in the prequel that I saw.

LOL. It's been a fun conversation:D I do really think it might be time to introduce my girls to Star Wars.

I'm just now asking DD2 if she wants to see them. I asked if she knew what they were about and she said "people fighting?" LOL. I told her kind of. Then I told her there was a princess in it and she told me she didn't like princesses. LOL. Then she said, "As long as it has Roy Eberheart or whatshisname (Percy Jackson)". Hee heee heee. The girl has good taste. Logan Lerman is pretty cute.
