Insurance companies suck

Yesterday, just as I was leaving for my volunteer shift at the library, I got a call from the insurance company, who said they needed my statement about the accident. Since I was literally about to walk out the door, I wasn't able to go over it just then. So, they asked when a good time would be for them to call back, and we scheduled it for 9am this morning. They even claimed that they were putting it on their calendar.

This morning, there I was at 9am, my phone in front of me. The clock kept moving, and no call. Nothing. Haven't heard from them at all.

Are people utterly incapable of keeping appointments? WTF?
