Merlin/Arthur, Merlin
This is the scene from Sins of the Father, in Series 2, when Merlin has to stop Arthur from killing Uther to avenge Ygraine's death. Merlin, who had been practically dancing when Arthur pointed out that it was possible that not all users of magic were evil, murdering bastards, stood up and said to Arthur that Morgause, who had supposedly called for Ygraine's spirit so Arthur could meet her, was an enchantress out to destroy Camelot and had probably lied to him. This tactic works, but Arthur later regresses on his stance on magic.
The heartbreak on Merlin's face even as Arthur drops his sword and no longer actively tries to lop his father's head off still makes me tear up. It's so sad, even if I could just smack Merlin for lying to Arthur, no matter if it was to save the most ungrateful king ever.
