Eureka: "Many Happy Returns"
Just watched the second episode of Eureka. The more I watch this show, the more I'm starting to like it.
In regards to ship, the writers seem to be pushing JC/Allison for the moment, though there does seem to be also a hint of JC/Beverly (though that mostly stems from the pilot). Of course, Beverly's the baddie of the series at the moment (at least, the only *visible* one), so just how long that will last is anyone's guess.
And to throw a monkey wrench into anyone's shipping plans, they introduced Allison's estranged hubby, Nathan. Can't quite decide how I feel about him just yet. On one hand: OMGJERK! Quit messing with JC! He's a hunk! On the other: Ooo! Character foil! Fun! *bounce*
The whole 'SARA house' subplot had me in stitches! I wonder how long JC will stick around in that place until he finally can't stand it anymore. *grins* FUN!
It seems that Zoe's come to stay for good with her dad. Here's hoping the distant cop of a dad can exert some influence. Her mother doesn't seem capable of it at the moment. Hmph.
The whole 'uber clone thing' was actually pretty interesting! I enjoyed that! I wonder if Walter will ever remember that he was working for some wacko group bent on stealing the stuff from Section 5 or whatever...
Well, now I have something else to look forward to watching besides SG-1 and Atlantis. Yay! The week seems to drag sometimes when I have to wait for the new episodes. Having Eureka on Tuesdays kind of gives me a pit stop of sorts. :D
