Pet Peeve
In my experience, fanfic writers usually tend to mangle roughly the same words. A lot of times they mix up there, their, and they're, or worse and worst (I saw that one in one of my own fics from a while back and I could have smacked myself). However, one word that usually gets utterly destroyed is definitely. Definetly, definietly, definitily, definitly, all of these are just a few of the variations that I've seen in fanfics just today.
